This is a game that would really benefit from a intergrated voicechat.

 

I know this has been made in other games but not used(like in wow) because people used vent and such insted.

 

But I would say that in a game like demigod, wher ecoordination is so important and you get random temates(like in the phantheon) you don't really have the time to set up a vent server with your whole team every time.

I am all for in game voice chat for all mp games. 

Here is why.  I am a casual player, who doesnt really have the time or interest in clans or the like.  I prefer to just hop into a game and play.  Personally I really like how BF2142has their ingame voice chat. 

Its simple.  Make it a push to talk system, so that you can ONLY voice chat to your team.  There would be an option in the setting menu to be able to hear voice chat or not (bf2142has this, I belive it it so people with slower connections dont have to revice the extra data).

 

In game removes the need for 3rd party apps like vent or TS.  Haveing to set those up is a pain.  And quite often it is imposible to set it up for a random group of pubbers who are only playing one match together.

 

I never understood why in built in voice chat never took off as an important feature.

Hey all... Well agree with your thinking.  Do the same, jump in and out, and would appreciate the experience, and the enhanced learning curve.  New to Demi so.. will see how the reqular chat works and if I use it at all.   Ggaming.

I too agree that integrated voice chat is a feature that would really enhance demigod quite a bit.

id rather them fix important things other than voice chat. hardly anyone uses it, i know games like WoW, HoN, CoD4 support it, and i dont think many people use it.

I've played a lot of COD4 and comptetitive play is the only area that really needs voice chat.  Those that are involved in the ladders already use a 3rd party program.

For Demigod team coordination is critical to being successful in the game.  More importantly though it is also quite painful trying to bring new players up to speed via typing instructions and explanations.  Telling the guy playhing the brokern QOT who has played less than 10 games to wait at the crystal until he can afford to fill all of his armor slots with artifacts certainly causes wrist strain. 

Personally if I had to pick the next two things that they got working it would be Clans and Voice Chat.

Voice chat is very important in these types of games.

 

My friend was trying to explain DOTA to me and without any sort of voice chat it would have been impossible.
