Guys

Alert

I don't want to alarm anybody, as I know for a fact that everyone is aware of this. I just want to say that as much as Stardock is doing good, they have to make things double time as the new dota (HON) is going to rival Demigod. I was a DotA fan, not anymore, and I will stand by Demigod's side not because I'm biased, but because I'm all for something new. I looked at the HON site and more or less almost everything is copied from the old DotA, the abilities, the items, the concept, and put into a new game with better graphics. Even the heroes weren't even changed much. And because HON is almost a copy of DotA, I won't support it because I want something new. And that is exactly what Demigod gives me. BUT, most people will think otherwise, and because DotA was a hit, HON will be too. I just hope they realize that, Demigod deserves much credit, that's probably not given to it. Despite all the internet connection problems, when you play the game, it's just plain fun. So Stardock, I'm not pushing you to go double time, I just want you guys to know, that you might lose supporters if you don't :|. I really hope Demigod becomes really big, as I think it would. But anyways, good luck Stardock and good job making this very fun game.

Gas Powered Games makes things for Demigod, not Stardock. Stardock are the publishers of the game and the hosts of the forum.

And we've seen this thread about a hundred times. Constructive feedback - objectively looking at the faults of the game and offering realistic advice or suggestions - has yet to appear in any of them.

o.O

the makers of HoN even stated that this is basically a copy of the dota version 6.49c, they also stated that they asked the current maker of dota Icefrog if it was ok for them to make this game, and he was obliged to let them.

He's just trying to voice his fill, but ZehDon is right.

Sides have already been taken, flames wars begun and ended. Everyone wanting to try out or move to "the other" game would have already done so by now.

Personally I'm a fan of League of Legends, but thats only because DG is too intensive for my machine. Once I upgrade though, I'll play DG a lot more :D
