Consolidated list of bugs in 1.19

In an effort to have to read less I am asking people to please post all found bugs in version 1.19 in this thread please.

Please keep posts to reporting bugs only. I don't want to have to sift through a bunch of posts discussing bugs, or whether something is a bug or not, or how much you hate that bug too. The less reading I have to do the easier it is for me to bring bugs to the attention of the proper people and the higher the chance they might get fixed for 1.2.

Endless connectivity screen in game. Playing a 4v4. The connectivity screen popped up. We could all chat. No movement on the screen. The connectivity screen stayed up. We wait 5-10 min. Nothing happened. Someone disconnects. Nothing happens. Someone else disconnects - we see desync message and game ends. This behavior is new and appears to be caused by desync handling in 1.19.

i missed this post earlier. this has happened to me 3 times now. very annoying

this has also happened to Ryanheart every single game he has played since the patch

To fix this problem, in your display settings, set your second monitor (usually on the right) to the top right quadrant... So this monitor is not directly right, but diagonal right and up. This way your mouse can only move to that monitor if you track it off the top right corner of the primary screen.

replaying replays is not really working for me. during replay at some point the replay gets stuttering and very very slow. happened to me in 2 out of 2 cases. in both cases this was after about 10min or more of replay already passed by.

When viewing a replay, change your view to a specific Demigod, turn on tracking (T), then switch back to observer mode.

It will keep tracking the previously selected Demigod and there is now no way to turn off tracking (while in observer mode).

Switching to observer mode should cancel tracking.

It's a minor issue, since there's an easy work-around: just cancel tracking before switching to observer mode.

the damage modifiers of critical hit items are still multiplied if both or all three get triggered at once. So 2x and 4x end up being 8x, instead of the 5x it is supposed to be.

Happened to me twice yesterday, first time I quit-out, second time I waited until 3 of our 6 players had quit, then it started up again. Also priests stuck in citadel, lobby 'bouncing'.

Additionally if you have been playing a single player game, the game options show the last settings you used when you look at the game options in a multi-player game you join later.

when using the purse favor item (10% off everything)

 

citadel upgrades whilst being 10% cheaper, won't let you purchase them until you have the normal amount of gold for them.

Cloak of Night favor item has a cooldown bug after being hit by Deep Freeze from a Torchbearer.

The cooldown on the Warp will stay very high even after Deep Freeze should not affect it anymore.

Windows 7 I have an intermittent freeze for about a second then 10 seconds smooth then freeze again. This is the final version not the RC.

 

EDIT: I am doing some looking into this and it looks like it must be a problem with my nic or something as many people are playing this game just fine on windows 7. I know its not my network as my friends computers run it fine when we are laning, but my stutters all the time and makes it so I cannot play very well. I dont't know what to do.... I updated my NIC drivers and tried turning off the webshield/network shield with my antivirus.

When buying 3 of the same item in quick succession, the third click will fail to produce a "you bought it" sound.

I usualy notice this when buying Vision Wards where you click on them 3 times, only hear the confirmation sound 2 times but you did get 3 of them.

In this Pantheon game, the forces of darkness had Oak on their side. We lost because of his traitorous behaviour. Seems like it might have been a bug with matchmaking, but I don't know if it's new since 1.19 or not.

Can you elaborate, because it sounds like it is working as intended.

If you get hit with Deep Freeze you will get a debuff that will modify the cooldown of any ability you use while the debuff is active.

In patch 1.19 I fixed a bug with cooldown modifying bufs and debuffs. Previously cooldowns would change once the buff/debuff fell off, which was not very intuitive and completely negated the effectiveness of cooldown debuffs. Now, the modified cooldown persists even when the buff/debuff wears off until the ability has a chance to completely cooldown.

So, if you get hit with Deep Freeze wait until the debuff wears off before you cast anything, especially if it has a long cooldown.

Can you elaborate, because it sounds like it is working as intended.

The thing is that it's only that way with the Cloak of Night Warp skill. All Demigod skills go to "normal" cooldown after Deep Freeze is gone (after 7 seconds max.).

Not being able to use a skill for 7 seconds (even if it was almost ready) is debuff enough imho. If it worked on other skills this way too, Heal for example, Sedna would have to wait up to 22.4 seconds to use Heal again.

With the Cloak this results in cooldowns of up to 192 seconds. Once I had to wait for ~140 seconds to use it again.

I guess item cooldowns are checked differently than Demigod skill cooldowns.

Anyways, thanks for reading Sorian. You're really improving the game even more. :)

Um, no they don't?

Even after the Deep Freeze debuff is removed the cooldown remains at its modified value until the skill has a chance to cooldown all the way.

The reason the cloak value is so high is because it starts with a 60 second cooldown. 220% cooldown debuff on a 60 second cooldown is a lot.

Had three of these experiences today, all on Pantheon.  Was able to chat with other players but game hung.  Eventually, someone got dropped (disconnected).  In one game, we were able to continue playing at this point.  In the other two games, the connectivity screen remained until all players were disconnected and game ended.

I get a minion bug with torchbearer. When attacking an enemy and I chase him off with a fireball, then stop to auto attack a creep wave, often there will be one minion stuck at my feet that just won't die (whilst in fire mode only). Sometimes it will be the last one in the pack and I notice fairly quickly after 2-3 shots don't kill it.

But sometimes it will be the first minion I am hitting and upon closer inspection fireball seems to just hit the ground next to the minion and causes no damage at all. I have to move away (and give the minion a chance to move)then re-attack or switch to ice mode before the minion dies.

Okay, I tested Deep Freeze and it really keeps the cooldowns on Demigod skills also high.

I guess I never realized that since 1.19 because most TBs are fire TBs and only few people use Deep Freeze, which now is really useful if you use it at the right time. This effectively buffed ice TBs quiet a bit.

panthenon indeed has a god exploit.

What do you know, ROOK is my opponent. The guy opinet or something like that laughed when i called him hack on the second game in a row this occured. Obviously the people who know this exploit can repeat it time and time again.

this has happened to me multiple times from a first person perspective

it happens when i play as oak (i believe any general will do), and i press N and issue attack command, meaning the demigod AND minions are selected, the game freezes for everyone else, and for me it pops up an error message:

the game remains frozen for everyone else until i press Abort Program, so the endless connectivity screen means whoever it happened to went afk and is waiting for you to quit

 

i think this error is caused by the new path finding for minions

 

this is really annoying, it started happening after the 1.19 update, every time in middle of action when issuing a command with both demigod and minions selected

 

this is a major bug that has to be fixed

Today I played a custom game 2v2. The host crashed out, and then we played a while longer. The other player on the hosts team conceded in the end.

 

The game is not recorded on my games list, nor my win or loss stats... It was a win for our side.

 

Also, Surely panth should be modified to not allow doubles... today got placed against double UB... It's only because they were noobs that we won.

A big regarding selling and re-buying of priests was reported here.

Briefly, if you sell your monks at citadel and buy them back, the summoning icon is greyed out and you can't actually summon them. 

Not sure if this happens all the time, and I haven't tested in SP yet (will do so tonight).  But it has happened to at least 2 of us since 1.19.
