The majority of people will kick you. Just join games that say noob in them, or host your own. I wouldn't kick you, I don't care if I lose, just like playing the game, but most of the players are there to win because of the stat system....that and they are tools.
This, and remember to name your game "newbies".
With the next patch player stats (basically how experienced they are) will be displayed in the lobby. Just look for games where the players have similar stats to yours. Playing in a game with more experienced players will not be fun for you because they will quickly find out that you are easy prey and focus on killing you.
There's no shame in joining "newbie" games in the beginning.
Well, I would say that there are a group of players that seem to lose all hope of continued existence if they do not end up with a Win.. a group that has no hesitation about verbally and visciously calling out any mistake they might assume you have made.. a group that will comment negatively at each stage of the game if the choices you make do not line up with the ones they would have made if they were only able to multi-box and play with themselves...
But, luckily there is also a nice group of players who are mainly interested in playing the game and enjoying it. If you see a game titled "No Noobs" or "Pro Only".. steer clear for now. Go for the "All welcome" or the "Noobs ok" rooms. You will definitely enjoy the game. Guaranteed!*
You also have Pantheon, you can play there without being kicked
And there's always rooms on the custom games for newish players or 'All Welcome'. Just don´t join a premade, pros only, experienced players, etc... and you'll be fine.
If you join someone else's game I would suggest letting them know you are new and request advice and direction during the game as well.

And until the stats are visible in game, make sure you check the players stats on the web before you ready up. I have seen quite a few games listed as "NEWB only" with very experienced players or premade teams looking for easy stomps.
I agree with jongalt26, I dont care who is on my team as long as they are willing to take advice and ask questions,, the theory to demigod for beginners is "if in doubt, RUN"...
