This game is done for

Check out Heroes of newerth. This is dota done right. BEta is free. I played it and man THIS GAME DESTROYS DEMI GOD.   NO retarded internet issues, no crashes. over 40 heroes already. LOLOLOL GG demi shit, And it retails for 30$ , can;t believe i wasted my money on demi god.

Heroes of newerth.... LOL.

i played it, and it has to be the wordt game ive played. It simply doesnt compare to demigod.
Demigods Gameplay and quality thrash HoN.

 

BUT that being said, demigod has faults. But its not rlly the game, its more the developmental side.

Things always seem to be delayed. Patches and such. WHY?
is it coz of the lack of planning?
or lack of communication?
motivation?

Also the balancing of items (eg. horn of battle). Why did it take so long to be put bak in game?

And wait, The new demigods. They were supposed to be released at PAX. hmmm where did they go? Have they even been completed yet?

Dont give a date unless the characters are finished!!! Your hyping up the community for what (nothing)? or maybe thats wat its all about... hyping up the community so that us players are kept interested in the game long enough till you "actually" complete something.

Yes! Lets pay $30 for a 95% exact DotA clone!

I have to admit, the features for it are awesome - but the gameplay is shit and basically identical to DotA - which I dont enjoy.

So, HoN requires more skill because experienced players can beat a complete noob, and this apparently isn't the same for Demigod, because in Demigod experienced players have no advantage whatsoever against someone playing the game for the first time?

because you havent even played a game of dota/hon yet. so how can u pass judgement saying that im wrong when you havent tried the game yourself?

Honestly, if a n00b joined a non-n00b game, he would get kicked. No one would play with him, because that's how the DotA community is.

Nobody has convinced me that I'm wrong. Besides, you say Demigod is for people who "fail at HoN." You play Demigod, so does that mean you fail at HoN? HoN may require more skill, but to say that Demigod is for those who can't play HoN is ridiculous, as if I can't be good at both.

Both of those things sound more time consuming than skillfull. So you search through several dozen recipes until you eventually find one that works for your hero. And you can target your own creeps to deny the enemy experience, thus making leveling and the overall game slower.

Sorry man, I have to disagree.
What you're basially 'arguing' is that Unreal Tournament is for people who don't like Quake, checkers is for people who don't like chess, water is for people who don't like Coca-Cola. It's just not true, and an over generlisation.
Demigod is for people who like Demigod. HoN is for people who like DotA.
