Your Favorite Feeling

What's the rush you get from Demigod?  What's your favorite moment in a match?  When the announcer shouts out that light giants have joined the battlefield?  The first kill?

For me, its when a team mate is about to get ganked, and I teleport in and we kill them both

Chasing some guy through a bunch of towers to get the finishing blow, and then making it out alive.  It is one of the most awesome feelings there is, because you feel like some sorta terminator, that WILL NOT STOP until you are DEAD.

End game comebacks.

Most thrilling game ever for me was on Exile.  I was with a new player who played Rook, he didn't know how to play well.  Playing against Oak and Sedna.  They pushed us all the way back to our base, and got giants.  But they couldn't get past our last stand.  Then we started to level up and get better equipment.  L20 UB with several high end equipment is a machine.  Sedna was stacked with health and dodge equipment, made no difference.  Slowly push them back and reclaim flag after flag.  Then continue to get equipment after more kills until practically had all the best stuff.  Then we manage to push all the way to their base.  It was before replays was implemented but coming back from near defeat and march the entire way back to their base was an epic feeling.

I was playing 1 on 1 in a Patheon game with a Erub in domination.  It was a tough game, he control the flags the entire game until higher level.  I sold all my stuff to get giants and cap his mob portals and won with like 9999 to 9700 ish.  Last minute win.

Winning a psychological battle:

I usually play QoT as "tank" and can soak up a lot of damage with constant Shielding and Mulching. This costs a lot of mana and often the enemy has me almost down, but then I use Mulch to heal myself and instead of waiting for the next Mulch (which would be more economical) I also cast the mana-expensive Shield again, as to show "I've got endless mana, can't touch me". The enemy, not seeing that I can't afford another Shield or Mulch, will often retreat with half his health even though he could have made me retreat. :)

Also, I always giggle on Mulch kills from afar.

I have to say, the best times are those games when you are down 5-kills early, and the other team is running away with the game.  Then, you fight back and win it.  Had one of those last night.  Good times!

Making a comeback is always a rush, especially when the other team was doing a 'little' taunting before you do it.

Being in a large (3v3 or 4v4) fight, getting the first kill, then proceeding to roll the other team is nice.

The single best moment I personally have ever had was a VERY close total PUG match that my side ended up winning. As the citadel collapsed and we all issued our gg's, one opponent, Lokida13, said 'F*** You Sedna' This made me very happy  (guess he didn't care for the silence/pounce interrupts)

The come back.  I think my favorite time with this was was during a game on cataract with shade vs 2 others.  We made a couple of completely idiotic moves early on which resulted in one player feeling like he was great... he even said GG? a few minutes in.  We quickly came back and crushed the other team... and enjoyed saying GG? right back at him.

Come-Back games!

One example: after beeing asked for playing a 1vs1 on Cata, Oak vs Beast, I said "ok". I played Oak three times online until this and he killed me 7times! The beast-player gets cata-saurier I only had priests. Then I had my comeback. I leveled him out for beast lv 16 - oak lv 19 and killed him twice. Get giants. He conceded after locked his right flag during his second death-timer. Nice game!

the moment I switch from farming creeps and flags to farming demigods >.>

Every single time I run someone else down wherever they flee to, or telegank someone.  MMM.

Sitting on a portal flag as oak just waiting for the enemy to come for me.  I'll fight off one, if 2 or 3 come at me, I'll blow all my mana and let them get my down as low as I think I can go (~1k hp).. hopefully I get one of them.. but I'm sure as hell distracting them.  Then I'll shield and teleport away.  Best feeling ever to shield, caplock and teleport away while 3 enemies are held up by you alone.

When post overlay and with no dishonesty at any time, on winning a 4vs4 the opposition shout premade when only two of the team know each other. Infact when ever I see the words premade said in anger I get a warmy fuzzy feeling.

  •  Turning an UB around with my Fire TB
  • Killing two people at once with one hammer slam, DOUBLE SMITE!

Those give me goosebumps.

Oh yeah, hammer double smites are pretty freaking sweet.

Playing UB (health stack, Spit+Ooze+Grasp) for the first time and realizing how weak QoT really is.

That's because you played the only viable build (closed mode, Shield, Shamblers, Mulch). But you hated Ooze on Shamblers, right? :)

You were quite good for your first time and of course I know how frustrating it is to support your teammates as much as possible and still they die.

"What's the rush you get from Demigod?"

--A kill, any kill

--teleport ganking an enemy demigod

--Bat swarming LE to a fleeing enemy demigod and then biting the hell out of them ("They cannot escape!")

--Saving a fleeting allied demigod with a Bramble Shield (I play QoT a lot)

--Locking an enemy portal just as soon as my team gets Catas or Giants

Yea its certainly the only viable build that is actually half-useful late game...and I didnt mind ooze too much on shamblers too much just becaue I often summon then mulch straight away. It was annoying having to summon priests back all the time though and the high DPS hurt.
