A different perspective

Lots of people seem to be complaining that "nobody plays any more". I think it's true that the number of people online has dropped a bit. The negative to this is that it takes a bit longer to get into games, but I think there is a positive that a lot of people miss.

I have started to notice that I end up in a lot of games with people I have played 3 or 4 games with before. I think this is great, both for making friends, and for getting another chance at someone that played a good game before. Not only that, but it seems like the number of rude (or at least really rude) people has dropped quite a bit. I guess I could just be having good luck lately, but I imagine a smaller community will, in general, be a nicer one.

Regardless, thanks to everyone I have played with lately, I've been loving me some Demigod!

I have actually found alot more active lobbies than ever.  Of course with this it seems to take longer to get a game going.

I disagree, Ryan. I've been having generally the same experience. Actually I've seen a lot less lobbies up, but with the new overlay games seem to get started quicker and people are pretty willing to balance teams (except for the certain premades who join lobbies hoping to bash randoms).

Though I also feel less people are playing, those who have stuck around (by my experience) are the nicer ones. I'm very glad for that. :D
