Probably off-topic, but, I'm interested in buying demigod, but, has the lobby/online play system problems been fixed by now?

Connection issue are basically solved (very few still have issues, many are user issue, not game issues).  So long as you have a broadband connection you should be good to go.

Dont lie to the poor guy.

The game still has issues and bugs. Lobby still freezes and u have to kill the process in task manager, connection problems like the infamous "invalid Gamestate Error" bug/exploit, and ofc the new connectivity screen that never goes away until some certain ppl get disconnected.

So the simple answer is; No

Game still has serious problems. But i still love it and i consider my money really well spent.

But thats my opinion

Works great for me.  Haven't had any issues since initial launch other than the occasional "invalid game state"  However, that seems to be infrequent now too.  Haven't seen that in over a month.

Your point is still valid.  The game does have more bugs than I would like, but I love it.  Definately money well spent.

It may still have problems but they are tamed and pushed down. I haven't run into any of them. Only problems I've had has been with other players and their poor connections.

I bought the game sometime in August and have never regretted it. It is not perfect, but there aren't any glaring issues, and the matchmaking system is just fine in my opinion. If you have a decent (broadband) connection, you should be good; and I would advise you try it out. If nothing else check out the demo first, that is what I did and I bought Demigod promptly!

this is not true. in one of the last patches connection problems have increased for MANY players.

and what never has been fixed are the lagginess and stuttering. but it is indeed not so bad as on release if this is what you ment. anyway it is still no where near what any other mp-game performs.

edit: since about a week in nearly EVERY game lobby i enter there are now at least two people that cannot connect. so since a week i hear all over people complaining for not getting a game to go due to this. i find this quite dramatacally.

what amtchmaking system? Oo

is this you first mp-title ever?

all people with problems have a decent broadband connection. this is not the reason of the problems!

here i am with you. beside of the many bugs and problems that seem to be ignored by the developers it is still a great game.
