Okay so I'm no great TB player, but I really like playing him.
The plan is for you all to post builds / tips / items / strategies / ... and I'll update my post to make a complete guide.
Here's the fire TB build I use:
Level 1: Circle of Fire I
Level 2: Fireball I
Level 3: Fire Aura I
Level 4: Fireball II
Level 5: Circle of Fire II or Fire Nova I
Level 6: Fire Nova I or Circle of Fire II
Level 7: Fireball III
Level 8: Circle of Fire III
Level 9: Fire Aura II
Level 10: Fireball IIII
Level 11: Circle of Fire IV or Fire Nova II
Level 12: Fire Nova II or Circle of Fire IV
Level 13: Fire Aura III
Level 14: /
Level 15: Inspirational Flame + Fire Nova III
Circle of Fire is a great skill to kill the first creep wave, it's also good to keep the enemy away from the flag if you put it around the flag, most players won't run into your circle at level 1.
Fireball is your most important skill, that's why I always get it first (cept for lvl 1), it's great for doing damage to towers and enemy demigods, it also has quite a nice range to finnish of that running enemy
Fire Nova is another nice insant direct damage spell, great to finnish of an enemy or to get that last bit of damage in. It's also great when you have to cap a portal or run into a huge creep wave, it instantly kills all the soldiers / archers / priests.
You could get Fire Aura sooner instead of Circle of Fire or Fire Nova, depending on what your game requires.
If you're getting a lot of opportunities to kill enemies but miss them by a small amount of health every time, get Fire Nova.
If you need to take down enemy towers or other buildings, upgrade Circle of Fire first, it's a great skill to take down towers.
If you're too slow to survive / kill anything, get some more Fire Aura to boost your speed, this also boosts your team's run and attack speed.
I'm not really sure about these yet, but here's what I do most of the time, in this order:
- Boots of Speed
- Banded Armor
- Scale Mail
- Unbreakable Boots
- Vlemish Faceguard
- Plenor Battlecrown
- Hauberk of Life
This is very game dependant though.
If your enemy is slow you could throw away Boots of Speed and replace it with another health / mana item. I would never do this though, I like speed too much.
Scale Mail is only usefull if your opponents use a lot of auto attacks or minions.
Plenor Battlecrown is only needed if you constantly run out of mana, even with Vlemish Faceguard and Unbreakable Boots.
Hauberk of Life could replace Scale Mail or Banded Armor if needed.
- Swift Anklet
I always use this one, I love the speed.
- Blood of the Fallen
A great item on any demigod, you can't go wrong with this one.
- Staff of Renewal
This combined with Vlemish Faceguard + Plenor Battlecrown could result in some serious pwnage.
You can get your skills off more often, but they'll also cost more mana.
I just tried this one, you really get off a lot more fireballs, but the lack of speed gets you killed too much.
