Hi!

This really starts to annoy me, as it happens in about 1/3 of the times i try to play a mp game via internet.

after all people klicked ready, and the host started the game, it often just stops at the demigod screen that pops up right before the loading screen of the map (waiting for players etc.). on all maps, no matter if i am host or not. if i try to go back to windows, it tells me that the program is not responding, and thats it. no other error msg. sometimes i cant even go back to windows and have to restart my pc. but if the game starts, i dont have a problem at all running the game and the game never crashes.

i have no problems running any other games on my pc, especially now as it is a new one. but i had the same problem before i got the new hardware. all ports that should be open are open.

im running windows xp64 (sp1+sp2) on a:

amd phenum II 955 quad @3,6 GHz, ati 4870, 4gb ram

any idea why this happens SO often? most of the time im playing with a friend i usually played supreme commander with, and he doenst have these problems at all. and again, this happens RANDOMLY
