Of balancing games and sand in your vag.

So i sat there today for 30-40min trying to get a game. the longest I have ever waited.

While I am a propionate of balanced teams, they cannot be perfectly balanced.  I get that.  All I want is some semblance of balance, so that each side has a chance. Again, it doesn't have to be perfect.

So I ask those who refuse to ready up because teams are imbalanced, when they are indeed not perfect, but acceptable:

Please clean the sand from your vagina.

This is not meant to target anyone specific, but to address a recent trend I have seen.  The community seems to have shifted from stomps, to demands of unrealistic balance, both of which ruin the game.

Solution:

You change team with whoever thinks it's unbalanced. Since you do not care about the minimal resulting unbalance the game should be OK for everyone. That's what I did.

I try that, them people scream that my team is OP. Go figure

I agree with OP.  I don't have any more fun bashing my opponents in a stacked game than I have getting bashed.

Been there, done that... i swap teams, it typically causes someone on the other team to complain things are now imbalanced.  I say, what will make it balanced?  One person on the team I just left quits because its imbalanced.  Another person joins to take that persons place... notes my amazing stats, asks us to balance.  I say what's fair, they say swap blah for blah... they don't want to swap... meh.  All the pain in the world over not having a decent auto-match system and overly sensitive players.

No game is ever going to be 100% balanced, even if everyone swaps out to get it as close as possible.  There's always going to be some sort of edge for 1 team over another.  So, I agree... man up just a little bit and just play the game... especially if people are trying to balance.

If every game was completely balanced, everyone would have 50% wins.

I was the last to join this game, and see oh, i have a 50% and someone with 30 games on my team...i look at the other team, everyone is like, 200-300 games, and iamkira is on their team...I ALMOST said, maybe 30 games and kira should be on same team, but i was like, screw it, i just wanna play...so then we play, and it is about even cept for 2 kills on our 30 game guy by kira, but once we were all about level 15, me and yeodan went in and starting capping portals, since kira was the only one CONSTANTLY porting around to save portals, we always went at the same time, and me being erebus, i BS'd away, and he shield tele'd away, was an awesome match, and we came out on top.

Thanks for the great match guys!

Good example indeed.  Amazing, isn't it, that a team with higher stats doesn't always indicate a better team.

Guys  - I know there are plenty of you that don't mind balancing or just getting a game going.  This is in NO WAY directed at you.  This is directed to the people who ask you to balance, then you balance, and then whine that things aren't balanced enough.  To them, we say STFU and play.

I don't know if anyone can relate to this, but I always take the summer off from gaming. Between work and the extra hobbies I pick up for the summer, I just don't have the time. I've played this game since day 1 but my all-time stats somehow don't show up on the new stat system, so I look like an utter n00b. This has caused two problems: First, I can not find a game that doesn't kick me out. Also, teammates will rag on me in the lobby entirely too hard, then in the game feed the other team while trying to blame 'the noob' and then ragequitting.
