Oak (minion) vs QoT

Well I just enjoyed a fun 1 on 2 against Blayston, ot was a 35 minute 1 on 1 where we kept going head to head. Well anyways heres the replay and hope you enjoy it, feel free to point out some mistakes i made in game.I'll start; I didn't focus on upgrading my centidale enough (didn't get currency early on), I let the game go on too long instead of trying to end it as fast as possible.

Note: No saying "Using QoT was the first mistake", I personally like QoT even with many of her flaws, there are ways to work around them or just play her to have fun.

From level 1 - 15 I mostly went bramble shield + thorns + spike= me keeping my but alive to the end . Near the end I only put points in uproot just so I could take down towers faster.

you know the few times iv played qot i use uproot early on and dont engage demis i choose swift and trake down towers while my team does the work i just lock and take towers down and u knmow what...i need o check but i think i only lost 1 game with her so far.

Oak vs QoT is always hard since Oak can do everything you can do only better. Shield? Check. Snare? Check. Debuff armor? Check.

And then some
Heal minions and self through AoE skill? check Improve minions with AoE damage skill? Check

You should never win as QoT vs Oak in a 1on1 situation unless you are a better player. At best you will draw if you are both good players.

INfact, if you want to be an awesome Oak player... play QoT Shield/Spike/Wave/Morale/Idols build and get good with it. Then play Oak Shield/Penitence/Surge/Morale/Idols the same way and you'll be like OMFG! Oak rocks!

Yea I get uproot sometimes got a problem with it? If so too bad for you.

A mulch build should be able to beat a spirit build pretty consistently, especially after level 10. I'd be up for trying it against someone when we're bored one of these days.

i think the problem with qot is people play her like they would other demigods...when i use qot very very rarely do i engage a demigod...usually i bait and they get frustrated and chase after about 10 mins and thats the begining of the feeding.

Yea mulch builds are good for tanking and holding lanes.

Really I usually prefer to seige towers and shield teammates, but I will try and assist with spike wace and ground spikes from time to time. /in the end the main goal for me is to destroy defenses and control the map.

i dont get shamblers or mulch in my build...iv never actually even got to lvl 15.... i just  get shield,spikes and uproot...the games ussually over pritty soon. i guess if i didnt push hard and play my strat right and got to late game..i would become obsolete.

this guy is speakin the truth, he is hard to kill as QoT (when I play with him as Oak).

Sorry I was busy with modding latetly, thats why I haven't been able to play as much as i wanted to.

Sorry I was busy with modding latetly, thats why I haven't been able to play as much as i wanted to.

I havent played much either, because I mostly been drawing and away from my normal net source. The one I was using last week made my ping spike into the thousands sadly.

Edit also I am helping with the testing of some qot mods so ya you will have a even harder time killing me when it is through. If only I understood modding I could do more for qot.

Vlemish is great with 8 mps aura, the modified theurgist's cap and vinling ROCK. ok Plenor is slightly UP but I've suggestion a buff with mana cost reduction aura

u should be happy, I've tested the helms and they are much much better.

We'll fix QoT soon Heaven dont worry. Mana costs will come down

But yeah QoT is very nasty to play sieging. Biggest problem is you need 2 tanks as team mates to keep you above water

Curious question here. Am I the only one who gets Ring of Divine Might with QoT? I found she can easily run through whole lanes with ground spikes and a bunch of minions

I never really thought about it. I mean yea it seems to be an interesting favor but I am usually turned away from favor with time limits. But I have been using a pure minion and shield build with QoT more tho, and in one game I didnt even grab spikes.
