Best part of this build, is getting Bat Swarm III at level 13. That is some serious tech.
In all seriousness, I have recently stopped using a Hybrid build for Erebus (Minions/Assassin Hybrid) that was pretty much this build, though twiddled around a bit. The main difference is that Hybrid Erebus gets a little mass charm, and a little coven, while assassin gets only mass charm, and Minions get no Mass Charm. No matter how you look at it, the amount of Charm is the real difference.
Oh, and I think that Bat Swarm II is better than Bite IV for both Hybrid and Assassin. I do agree with Mist form however being something you need to know about as an Erebus player. You do not necessarily need it anygame, but you need to be fluid enough with your build to know WHEN you need to grab it, and then actually grab it. A short mist can be amazingly effective at helping you survive.
Lastly, I think people need to remember that mana is very important to Erebus. Unlike some DG's who need to keep their HP high via HP items, Erebus can almost always escape if he has enough mana for batswarm, and mid combat can bite someone to death as well. Keep that MP up!
ALright, so besides the fact that you are pro enough to get bat swarm III at level 13, do you think it is really worth it, it costs alot of extra mana for, 100 damage? I am not really sure how much it does, but even 200 i dont think is worth it, all you have to give mana is the vlemish, and i think BS III takes something like 1200 mana...
I don't know, seems a little like an unnecessary waste of mana...

It's listed in the items list. thats mana for days. you don't need swarm 3 over swarm 2 because the range is the same, but you have so much mana with plenor and vlemish stack that the additional mana cost for even a smaller amount of dmg is worth it because it's not like you're running out of mana anytime soon.

Im sorry but mana is Erebus's biggest problem so getting another rank in Batswarm for a useless late game 100dmg+ is a complete waste.

The reason why I post the replay first is so people watch the game. Then they go "shit, how'd that happen" then they read the build. Then it makes sense.

EDIT: Watched the replay, I really don't see how that 150 damage made a difference, but you are right, you can definately withstand the hit on your mana with using it, i guess by the end it was just extra damage on top of bite, minions, and AA...
(I think you just wanted us to watch to see how awesome you are ^^)

At around 3-4min in the replay, why do you leave the mana flag uncapped for so long? Were you predicting the UB would decide to port in and kill himself?

Ok, stopped watching at about the 20 minute mark. The game was over a while ago.
Do you have any replays of this build playing against a proper opposition? I think it's a pretty bad demonstration tbh, for example you say re: early game 'This is where Erebus is unstoppable.' Yet at the start you and oak just tiptoe just around each other, with him in control of the mana flag? In fact you don't really take him on at all until you've been fed by the UB/rook for a good part of the game. And by that time it's hard to work out what is actually meaningful when you're on a 15 kill streak lol.
I'd love to see a replay using this build that gets to a balanced late game ... that's where I don't what to do anymore (I've only played a couple of games as Erebus). Survivability is no problem but I have a lot of trouble dealing damage to other demigods/lategame creeps.
I don't get rank 3 batswarm. There are better options with ereb- no need to waste mana. Also, early stun ereb is viable, and it uses a lot more mana than this build. I would go this minion oriented build vs team with a sedna, rook, other erebus. Or if you have a heavy siege based strat.

But I agree Bat3 is fucking useless. DONT get it. Even if you dont get mana sisues with it(which I doubt) you can get more charm or minions for it.

You can say it's been up on the site for months, but that doesn't mean I stole it. Yes, it's my build. I made it up. I don't find it impossible that 2 people can make the same build for erebus, he's pretty static.
