Anyone?

And you know why. Because noobs play erebus because they relize how good he is. Now if you didn't have all the new players playing erebus at a normal level and had really good players playing him he would annialate all in the standings. Kinda like UB is doing right now. Plus win percent is percent of games won out of total. Look at the rates. 60k wins for erebus 43k losses for erebus while regulus has 70k wins and 69k losses. Thats mainly because when the game came out regulus was a must because snipe and mines and a loss and win in every game because he is almost always on both sides evens out the standings. With erebus it's whatever side has him normally wins.

hrm.... thought noobs picked rook because he looks like a castle...

If anything, Reg is one of the two most noob popular demigods in the game.  I don't think the statistics are that useful.

Imo Erebus doesn't feel that good anymore. Never felt he is a problem.

All the noobs pick Regulus and UB.

the noobs are the ones who think erebus is OP...

If you filter by custom games only, Ere is still higher than Reg (or was last night).

He's not OP just easy to play. Any really good rook and take out an erebus depending on the situation. It just takes someone who knows how to play rook. Erebus is just easy to learn and figure out a build/strategy.

When u see someone take erebus and go perma-mist half the game, and that player has about 100-150 games or so, u would change your mind about that.

Also; erebus is NOT OP, as some people would like to think that he is.

I would definitely say Regulus is the easiest character to pick up on. Snipe and high damage range. What else could a n00b want?

I would definitely say Erebus is harder to play now that he has been nerfed. Before, you could pretty much pick any skills (all of them use to be god-like) and just play. Now, you kinda need to have a build. Erebus is hard to track down, but once you get him, he is kinda squishy.

no all the noobs pick UB i cant tell you how many times people have yelled at me to switch off UB whoes my main so there arent any doubles then the beast on our team starts the game off with around 5 deaths and no kills.......

If someone is perma-misting in a serious game with 100 games they need to figure something out that someone had told them. He's easy to copy someone elses stategy and use it easily. It's hard to copy hammer rook for example because it's not just ability spam. It's more you need the feel and strategy not just the technical crap and fast fingers.

Regulus has mines. You place them do too much damage for it's level. Thats what a noob needs. An easy to use ability that when coupled with snipe is so strong. This is what started the health stacking hole we have fallen into. Mines need an activation time. Something around 1.5 seconds. Not as soon as it hits the ground. By the time the regulus animation is even noticable the mines are already in the air and you have about 3/4th of a second to react and about a third to half that time is latency so you better be clicking really fast to get out of there.

Erebus wasn't really nerfed. The minion fix made him far stronger minion wise than any other general and 175 damage off a level 10 ability with the debuff slightly reduced. That wasn't much of a nerf. They just toned down bite because it ate everyone alive. But the minion fix more than made up for it. Batswarm and bite and mist make up for his squishiness

Thats because noobs watch as UB's at the end of a game demolish 2 to 3 enemy Demigods on their own. Thats because Beast expands to the items he has instead of someone like torchbearer who kinda just stops gaining power at level 15 or so. UB has a limit of all the artifacts and artifact consumables. Far more potential. It's just those noobs don't know how to play UB. Then they all go to reg and maul that UB because they laid 6 mines and then laid 3 more just as those blew up at level 7 thats over 3600 damage within 2 seconds or so. That isn't skill thats lack of ability to counter/destroy mines.

Noobs pick regulus and erebus just because they are easy to get the hand of. Most regulus players then switch to other demigods while the erebus players normally move onto playing UB or someone who requires a little more of a feel of the game to play decently. I'm just saying that noobs play erebus like good people play rook. The gap between expert and noob is smaller on him and regulus. Rook for example has a giant swathe of players form amazing to simply horrid.

Erebus isn't OP just too easy to play well. He reaches his limit much faster than other demigods do though. To make this clear lets go by this example.

Rating 1-10 just to make it even i'm rating how a noob would play erebus with 10 being best you possibly can and 1 being as bad as you could

Rook noobs start off at 1 and then jump up by 3 every 10 games they play.

Erebus noobs start off at 5 and jump up 1 every 10 games they play.

Now of course this isn't 100 percent true but it gets my point across. He just starts at so much higher of a level. In all the super high pro games it's oak and UB all the way not erebus. And throw a regulus in there becaues he only needs mines and snipe the 2 best and easiest abilities to use in the game. Point and click for massive damage. Any erebus in the really high end games normally gets eaten alive by Oak or UB because instead of having a 1-10 they have more a 1-15 scale where each number is still equivilent. They have too much growth potential. Regardless if you played lets say QoT flawlessly and then played a UB who is really good the UB would probally win because he has so much more potential because his abilities grow with his items not his skills.

Need to add some kind of spellpower ability into the game. Where each ability on the caster demigods instead of getting weapon damage gets spell damage or healing power. Would make them so much better (ex: QoT, Torchbearer)
