Win/Lose statistics

I'm new to this game and I am loving it so far, but I've noticed that alot of the times when I win/lose It doesn't count into my statistics. This happens very often, especially when the other team ragequits. So is this a bug or is it supposed to be this way?

if you concede or quit under 3minutes (realtime) the game wont count towards statistics

It is 5 Minutes Realtime. Most of the times its 3 minutes ingame. 1minute loading screen and 1 minute beginning laag and slower going game time.
