How to break that losing streak 101
What I'm about to write is not ground breaking or new, but as with all things it's the little things to grow into huge game losing mistakes.
A military strategist Sun Tzu wrote in his Famous book the "Art of War"
1. He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.
2. He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces.
3. He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
4. He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
Now if you are on a losing streak you have broken one of these rules, let’s break it down.
1. He will win who knows when and when not to fight.to fight
Not including joining a game out of your skill level IE a premade or all 80% wins vs. 40%, having a team mate emo rage quit or ctd. You most likely are engaging in 1 v 3, 2 v 3 or doing some like chasing a low hp god into their towers and getting tower ganked. This is not only dumb but you are now on your way to becoming a feeder...
What is a Feeder? A Feeder is a player who serves up multiple kills feeding to other team loads of gold which are in turn used to upgrade themselves and or there tower. DON'T be this guy.
Also know your skill level or level of play don’t jump into a 60% game and play with only 40% guys this is a good way to lose and other bad things. Play within your skill level ok now you’ve joined a game in your skill level.
Find a God you like NOT Regulas
… I could add some other swear words but I’m being kid friendly that you’ve played single player before and feel ok playing. Talk with your teammates come up with a plan. This should all happen at the prestart and start of the game. You approach the lane with a flag you need to cap and a god appears.
When should you fight, when you have a 3 v 1 or 3 v 2 or 1 v 1 on a friendly tower why a friendly tower... two words Teleport Scroll or 1 v 1.
Oh and pro tip there are loads of builds in the forums find one that works for you and for god sake train up whatever stun your god has asap early in the match because losing a possible a kill because you were OOM/ OUT OF MANA or didn’t have it means you are a noob.
2. He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces.
I would insert knows how to handled a God of a higher level or Higher HP one of lower level or lower HP. Taking on a High HP higher level God is an art form and should be done when you are full heath and have backup IE 2 v him. If you can engage these guys it should be on a tower with help nearby. You should win most of the time.
As you how to handle lower level gods, look for them in the open trying to cap a friendly flag and smoke them.
3. He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
This all about knowing the map and when to upgrade yourself and the tower, knowing your build is the most important thing. I watched a replay I lost and couldn’t figure out how this level 15 Oak kept feeding the other team well not only did he not buying any items his build was horrible to be kind. Prepare by finding a pro build there are many on the forums put together with loving care and bad beat by people with more experience than you, use them enough said. Next to knowing your god build is knowing the map, holding and keeping flag gives you bonus and war points which you need for cats and giants. Map control is key keeping the right flags can will you 1 v 1, for instance you hold the HP bonus flag and you are a UB going against a TB and you are both level 5… having that extra heath will help you kill him.
4. He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
This about the gank there is nothing better than teleporting in and killing an enemy god in a fight with a team mate and topping that is killing his poor team mate late to the party. This is also about saving enough gold and getting cats and giants while capping both respawn flags. Look for ways to communicate with your teammate to pull this off. Having Regulas snipe some poor bastard from across the map for 700 plus giving you that just enough to get the kill is not only PRO but doing this enough should get you a few EMO RAGE QUITS.
