I use the UI mod that displays teammates' mana and equipment.  Usually I forget it's there and don't pay attention to it.

That's the team panel. I said excluding that!

I tried to start a handful of modded games (TB AA fixed, Favor rebalance, Item rebalance, QoT boosted.) But no one seems to have the mods so are not able to join the game. Majority of my last couple of games were in SP.

No.  I'm not using any of the balance mods... not even the tb fix, though I'd like to.  I only use ui mods currently due to the low population.  Another restriction that bars someone from joining a game makes getting games going more difficult.  I'm play testing the skirmish ai though.

I only use the UI mods online (team panel, text on HP/MP bars, rollover ally info). However, I'm play testing the Favor Item Balance mod (quite nice, and complete imho), the Item Balance mod (this one is still beta), and the Skirmish AI.

I would like to use the Favor Item balance mod online, but the current low population makes it almost impossible.

i love Peppe´s Skirmish_AI mod...chilled games vs. meanwhile quite challenging ai´s......

I try but fail ^^

ye sometimes.

TBH though, many mods don't neccerily add a lot to the game. I for one don't agree with the balance mods. Although it would be cool if there was some sort of combipack with all the usefull fixes(TB fix/ui/minionhealth/whatever).

I agree with this.  I'd like to see all of the UI mod's rolled together.

We'd be open to starting to include favorite mods in with Demigod itself if you guys want to draw up a list.

Just be careful not to assume that the forum's posters represent the views of every player.  I don't post or use the balance mods because I don't understand the basis for most of their proposed changes.

many are for balances, some are to add features that should have been added (view teamates mana and such), and others are just for fun.

You should include the mods with Demigod but not automatically activate them. That saves one step of people having to download them. Then hopefully the mods will automatically activate or deactivate if you have them and the game you're trying to join requires them. I hope...

Do to the size of the community I doubt majority would even know they have them if that was done.

I asssume that's the plan.

It would be ideal if Stardock would include the top 10 - 20 favorite mods in a minor patch every two weeks or so.  That way the modding community can provide important fixes that can easily be used by all players in between major patch versions.

It would also make it much easier to get a multiplayer game going that added new features, such as new favor items or artifacts.

Since they are mods, players only need to activate those that they agree with.
