The law of average has been suspended!

QQ to follow:

Every pantheon or PUG custom I've played in the last week has been:

noob

"I'm not a noob, don't worry!", but then really is a noob

"hi", game starts, "I dont speak inglish"

Cannot/Will not communicate at all, period.  Nor do they understand "get flag", "kill creeps", or "Igor, go get chinese take-out"

Or they die 5 times in 3 mins, but won't concede, "not yet!  We can do this!", as they get pwned by regulus again...

Sucks!  There is that fine line between "Noob" and "Pro (aka I play games more than I go to work)", that I can't seem to land in.  You don't want that brand new guy everytime.  Once in a while is fine :)

Nor do you want that pro that says "Concede.  UB + Ere > Rook + Oak." at the 3 second mark.

Where do us "I don't suck, but I still have a normal life (so I suck a little)" guys meet up?

No game I have ever played has the potential to be more frustrating then Demigod, I'll tell ya that.

I would say Domo is almost there; when you get a tank, healer, or muse who goes afk without telling you so when they are not doing their job the whole party crumbles and dies. To top it off no communications is absolutely necessary outside the afk part; so partying can get extremely boring.

The worst is when you play with alies who not only don't communicate, but don't even listen. I was playing a 4v4 with sedna once, and we were in the middle of a big push, but I was just plain out of mana and health, and had to pull back. I said. "Oom, shopping. Don't die without me, be carefull, you don't have a healer anymore". about 10 seconds later, I hear "TRIPLE SMITE".

The worst part about being a healer in a Demigod game is that your allies think that if they don't die, it's because they are awesome by their own right. The second you leave them alone, they just charge into the most ridicululously dangerous situations. You just know that eveytime you go shopping, one of your alies will die.

its true. People are just so dumb. I can not count the number of times where someone got plenor or vinling BUT NOT VLEMISCH. Seriously how bad can you be?

But LK, Plenor looks better than Vlemish and Vinling is more expensive, it must be better... ;P

Btw, do the Vlemish auras stack if two demigods have it?

What I found funny was once in a 3v3 I was qot and I told my I was oom and to get back behind the tower.  So he starts back after I had got enough mana regen back and shielded him one last time. I told him specifically I was going to the crystal and be careful.  Before the cool down for bramble shield even is up, this player runs straight into a 2 v 1 and dies. To top it off he had the nerve to blame me for not shielding him again.....

then you obviously should have shielded him! loser...

This is the other part of why QoT is bad.

You shield someone and they start doing all sorts of stupid sometimes.

At least heal requires them to have been stupid first.

My favorite is when I was called a n00b for not being in closed mode to shield my idiotic team mate. I mean, that really takes the cake. Not only do you not deserve to be shielded, but expecting me to close and shield you....

So now I only shield people if they can get a kill by chasing, or they are returning from chasing and could use with a little less tower damage.

You start shielding people in fights and they start over extending or getting mad at you when you don't shield them.
