Anyone know of any way to add sounds/music?

I've been lookin around, but it seems all of it uses FMOD events, and the FEV file is called from the exe, so I can't create and load my own:(

I'm not sure if they used the same setup, but I remember browsing a few posts in Supreme Commander about sound modding. I do however fear that the end result was that they used a monolithic proprietary sound file format, and that modding it wasn't possible.
