An observation of Occulus

We don't need another general that can't stun or interrupt. :/

The nerf to flag locks to make them more interruptable was a nerf to Reg and Queen and now Occulus unfortunately.

Dr. Oc, however, has the best HP out of any ranged character and better HP than even Sedna ;)

You can't lock a flag you never get to control.

I wonder how or if he is different when he gets released.

I didn't like him with what we could play.

We already have plenty of Tier 2 Demigods; we don't need more.

Lighting arch is your best friend.

Well our doc oc is a few months old (i think) so we don't know what changes have been made...

Still, Epi does have a point. All of the "lesser" Demigods lack a stun mostly. This is mostly a problem on Cataract though. But since Cataract is played most it becomes quite the problem.

Yes. Esuzu and I know enough of it. We just played an awesome game with NinkiCZ and his friends and I was playing queen. Now if you have the right build it's very possible to be the best pusher in the game and we were slowly tipping the balance when the other team began an rampage to lock every flag. Since Erebus is insanely OP I couldn't do anything about it: sure I could beat him in a real battle, but he would just port in, lock flags, do a bit of damage and bat away. We even had him in a 3 way gank but no dice. Before this becomes a rage against Erebus: they won the warscore fight and from that moment onward we were on the defense. Not because they played better or anything, just because he could lock/port/potion in my face.

If a demigod lacks a stun or interrupt he better be really really good at pushing or support. And right now I don't see how Doc Oc even comes close to being good at anything. He lacks damage, his warp is plain inferior to LE's, his minions are bad save for the explode thingie at level 15, and his mana skill is not very usefull imho.

I just don't want a another spellcaster to be effing frail and slow. Remember our old OC could enter conflicts and drop creep waves, but was the most likey to die in a demigod conflict without a chance of escape.

DA needs a better interupt than that long swap.

Honestly if they have Ball Lightning working correctly by the time he's released I think he's going to be quite powerful. Chain Lightning is one of the best nukes in the game and pretty much all his skills' level 15 mods are amazing, especially electrocution.

I think he will be pretty good. I think he can deal 2150 with large aoe every 10 secs for a 1 sec total cast time just from 8 points (worked it a while back the numbers might be off by a little, double hit with the tele and chain lightning).

From my two games games with the DA/OC mod he appeared to be the best farmer in the game capable of getting a number of levels a head of everyone else with more gold. Chain can take out creep waves from a longer distance than rain of ice. I think if he was given a stun he could come close to making TB 'useless' like sedna makes queen 'useless' now.

My impression was he was like queen in open form with a tele, but much more powerful. He still lacks an interupt though.
