The Dark Side Conspiracy?

Ok, this might be a noob question, but I really didn't mind/thought about it until now:

Why, in multiplayer, we get the dark side insignia on the map loading screen, no matter what side we play...

In singleplayer I noticed there's a light side insignia, but in multiplayers it's the same for all...

Why does the first player on Dark Side spawn in the 5th player spot on light and have to run his happy ass to the shop?
