I did it.  Went full retard, lol.  I think I need a break from DG, my tolerance is getting low.  Game opens and the rook I'm paired up with is circling repeatedly by the tower, running forward to put towers down, then back.  We're against a 1000 hp ub, a 700 hp OC, and I'm full charged oak, with monk for us.

Everytime I go in to engage at the hp flag, rook steps forward, then turns back right as I go in.  The enemy figures this out and despite my full health and them being low, they unabashedly go for me, knowing rook is turning back.  Oh yeah, he has 3100 hp.

I'm typing up a storm: "Which target?"  "Let's get OC"  "OC = Oculus, ok?"  "Don't turn back, m8, go in with me, I got shield if you need out, will save it for you"  "I know your slow, I'll make sure you get out, but we got this", etc ad naseum.

Then I watch as our TB does the "have 500 HP, but stopping for one last fire ring" antic.  I suppose in real life, if you conjured up a fire ring, everyone WOULD stop chasing you, yelling "Holy shit!".  In fact, they'd probably leave you alone for good.  You'd probably be on CNN inside 30 mins.

In this GAME, the other TB just tags you another 2 times and lights off a fireball at your retreating form, ganking you.

 

Nobody responds to me.  I'm asking, advising, offering help, etc.  After we have 2 deaths in 2 mins, I ask for a concede.  Politely, nicely even.  I finally get a "STFU noob" response, which is nice.

 

More attempts at communications, but no response.

 

So I go full retard and AFK myself.  I know.  I did it.  I'm a jackass.  I came back from changing clothes and I notice they're typing up a storm now. 

Maybe it's time to move on.  90% of the people I run into on PUG are on my friends list or on my "asshole" list.  DG is getting stale and the player base isn't changing. 

What other games are good?  DG is amazing, beautiful artwork, music and animations.  Voice acting only comparable to Company of Heroes.

I was playing a game as QoT on Pacov's team a while back on Leviathan and it had been about two months since I had played on that Arena.  I forgot what sorta weird assassin build I was playing with, but I had the 50% boost to the 15 hp second flag going and it really didn't matter that I hadn't gotten monks which would have been only maybe slightly more ideal in the situation.  Pacov was on my lane with a Rook and I was keeping him permanently shielded and we probably would have had some early game ganks going except...

Well, he's a real nice guy in the forum and in a better world me and him could have a beer together but like almost all of us, he ain't all that pleasant when someone isn't playing up to their standards... anyway, it got unpleasant and I had to go back to base to get monks to shut him up and of course he gets killed when I'm on my way back which does nothing to improve our comraderie issues.

We ended up winning real easy and this isn't against Pacov personally... it's just a good example in pointing out its kind of funny what this game brings out in all of us.  Next time I play with some noob Sedna who is our only general and still doesn't have Monks at level 7 and replies "Can't afford them." when I politely explain that they would be a very helpful investment to everyone on our team...

Still think our best game together was the time when my speakers were fucked and I didn't hear him the entire game and he was yelling at me the entire time XDDD. We won though.

Had a game with an idiot just now. Decided to save the replay and show you guys why exactly you should never go full retard.
Also, he lagged the game. The only guy who had 400+ ping to me.

It's a real pity you can't see conversation in the replay, you shoud see the smack talk he went into. "Beast, go to hell" when I told him to leave the game and give me an AI to play with, "5 AI not good for you even" and stuff like that. Excluding the cursing, ofcourse.

I had this back in December. I would get so fed up with my PUG teammates that I would just run into towers, or camp the citadel after they repeatedly would run in and die or just not listen to me at all. I ended up taking a break because my buddy mandatorycloud had to take a break for vacation. I played a lot of Modern Warfare 2, and this source mod called Neotokyo.

 

Come back to the game, much less rage at PUGs. More rage at my win percent, but thats okay.

 

Seriously, get on vent. There are a lot of great guys always up for a game. It works wonders.

I've had a few guys in my core premade get QUITE pissed at me for being a total jerk in some of our games.  I don't go afk or pull and of that crap, but I give them way more of an earful than they deserve from time to time when I get frustrated.  It's certainly a flaw on my part to get so angry over silly things.  I'm happy to say I don't behave like that in most of my games (but one game with me riding you is enough, to be sure).  Sorry, thundercles :)  Anyway, I'm still working on that.  Playing with more people 5v5 on lagwars vent has gone a long way towards calming me down, oddly.  Your welcome to join me anytime, Thunder.  You can even rock out zechnophobe's qot build if you like and I'll make nice... for a game or 2}:)

Oh, hahaha, I think I gave the wrong impression. I started using vent in the past week. It makes it much easier to get a game together almost instantly, without having to worry about the quality of your teammates (can't say that about myself ><).

 

I try not to pugstomp. Take a look at my win percent and see what I mean.
