Few noobish questions and misunderstandings.

Well I played just few games online till now but I can't find the answer for few things.

* First is that all the time I play my enemies outnumber me with HP's. Same money, same level so how the hell all of them can have around 5k HP at level 7, when I'm happy to have around 3 and nearly no armor. This tarting 1k gold isnt much.

* And second thing: How and where can I buy favor items? Can't find this option anywhere :/ Not in single nor the multiplayer :/

* I played in single player all the chars and have one thought... All of them are great... Except the Deamon Assasin which sucks... Is it my lack of skill or he's simply underpowered because it's a new char, not balanced yet? Not that I care much (I don't like him much anyway), but it'll be good to know...

[EDIT] And another thing. I've chosen 'Dark Side" in Pantheon... And as a result I can choose only generals... WTF? I thought bad guys are: UB, TB, LE, DA, QoT...

1.) Everybody stacks HP items because currently its the best.

2.) You know at the bottom of your screen where you see a pic of your demigod? look 4 circles to the right and click the last circle to buy favor items.

3.) Erebus, Unclean Beast, Oak, and Occulus are currently the best chars. Regulus, and Queen of Thorns are thought to be underpowered by most of the community.

End of Shiro_Sol's quote

Those who everybody agrees on that is most powerful is Erebus, Oak and UB. Rook is probably considered tier 1,5 if Oak etc is tier 1. Some perhaps would like to count Doc Occ as tier 1,5 aswell. Reg, QoT (and sometimes TB) is probably the weakest. DA and Sedna is somewhere in between.

Sedna is up there with Rook, and Occ is kind of... odd. He has good potential, but bugs and lack of interrupt, stun or snare really hurt him.

Shiro_Sol is correct.

Also, you are correct about the Dark side question. These are normally the "bad guys". But the new Epoch III, which started not a long time ago, has changed this. Now its Generals vs Assassins. That means: Light = Assassins and Dark = Generals.

Demon Assassin is generally weak vs the top demigods, but can be very dangerous in the hands of a skilled player WITH good team mates. DA can swap places with you (with the Swap skill), and draw you inside enemy towers or in a minefield or in the "hands" of your team mates, ready to kill him/her.

About favor items, please note that some of them are useable (click F4 or the item's icon to use it), and also that there is a second tab in the favor item store which lists differrent items for generals and differrent for assassins.

About HP, I suggest that your first HP item that you buy is definitely Unbreakable Boots, which is located in the "Boot items" shop tab.

Questions?

Unbreakable is a bit expensive... Get Banded, Scalemail, Unbreakable in that order, as $$ allows.

Ah yes you are probably right. I actually meant it excluding starting items.

Banded armor and Scalemail are really good starting items.

Unbreakable Boots is a great item for your first  trip to the shop.

Well, it depends on the items you are buying, see other's lists, and most people shop from levels 6-9 so if they shop before you then they will mostly likely buy hp items and thus have more hp.

save replays and see what they buy with the money, copy strategies. Thats how ppl should learn the game in most cases imo.

One thing no one touched on is farming.  When a creep (units that come out of the portals) dies, any demigod near it splits up experience whether it had any part in killing it or not.  However, if you do at least 25% of the damage to a creep that dies, you're rewarded with gold along with the experience if you are near it when it dies.

This is one of the reasons your enemies are always have more HP than you: They are probably making more money.  Also, the most populare favor item is called Blood of the Fallen and is an excellent choice for most demigods, especially if you are a beginner.  800 starting hp helps a lot in the beginning part of the game.

You are correct in who you think the dark side characters are. However, the pantheon is currently Assassins vs. Generals.

For all generals, I'm pretty sure the best investment for your starting money are monks.  They are heal bots that will keep you on the front lines long after the assasins have run out of mana and health.

Sedna is an odd bird.  She is tier 1 in terms of survivability.  She can be just as unkillable as Oak or Erebus because she can sport massive health and a massive heal rate.  On the other hand, you won't influence the game by killing other DGs, only preventing your teammates from being killed.  She's also a terrible farmer.  You may win a lot with her by supporting your team, but don't expect to have more than 75-90 favor points at the end.

CHARACTERS TO PLAY:

Unclean Beast = Use spit and stack health. Get Foul Grasp. Learn to use Ooze. ??? Profit

Lord Erebus = Use bite. Stack health. Get Bat Swarm at level 5 and run away with it ??? Profit

Only Sedna, Rook and Oculus need the ??? before the Profit step...

DA has only Warp, Swap, ??? Profit.

Regulus has Snipe ??? ???  Profit.

TorchBearer is only ??? ??? ??? ???, no Profit step. Just like QoT.

TB is much better then people give him credit, lol.

Yeah, I actually play TB a lot - I really like my fire build - but I do pretty much only lan this game with friends, so maybe it would be harder in a more competitive setting? I don't know...

You just cant charge in like a lunatic like you can on the EZmode DGs.
