I....apologize to everyone I offended. I am sorry skidi v_v Its just that...*sigh* there are some personal problems I dont want to discuss right now, and I kinda took out my anger on you guys, I'm sorry again.

Killz, the 480 hasnt been released in the stores yet, but the price will be around 500$. Its a really expensive card, because its high-end, and probably the best single GPU card that money can buy.

Its a brand new card and I dont know much about it yet, but I will look deeper if you want any more details.

WOW. Downing 3 huge dudes without thinking. Very impressive. Though a word of advice- someone who fights fair will generally lose to one who fights dirty. If I am required to defend myself in any way, then I will fight to ensure my opponent does not have the will, and if necessary, the means to continue fighting. Groin shots may be "cheap", but they are very effective.

Morph:  Was making noises, I thought it was the hardrive and switched it with a spare a friend has, and then realised it was the fan.  But when I switched back, the startup sequence was corrupted and it will not self repair.  And the new hard drive lacks the drivers for various components in my comp I need to get online here, so I'm pretty screwed.

Twilight I wish you have said it to me before you replace your hard drive. Laptop hard drives are more quiet than you can wisper. The only thing that makes noise is the fan of course.

Now from what I understand you have 1 HD in your laptop, and you replaced that with an HD of your friend's? And they both had an OS installed, and your friend installed your own HD to his laptop, is that correct?

It doesnt matter if its laptop or not, if I did this in my desktop PC, the same thing would happen for sure. Now you learned the hard way (wish you didnt) that you shouldnt do that, unless you dont mind formatting your drive.

When you did this (if I am correct, need more info here), the OS (XP, Vista, whatever) installed automatically the basic components of your friend's laptop. That is, DVD drive, motherboard, all controllers, etc etc.

Please, tell me more and I can help you :thumbsup:

What messages are you getting when Windows is loaded? What problems are you experiencing? What exactly happened with the HD swap?

As I am busy doing some contract Law work, ill post a more detail approach later hopefully.

(sorry for capitals, just making it more clear )

My overall advice is this: IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT, be mates with her, support her, and hopefully, you and her will be together one day, but PLEASE IN THE LOVE OF GOD, meet some other girls you like. By putting all your hope into one girl at this stage of the relationship between you and your crush is not a good idea. Meet new  girls, take them out on dates, while being mates with your crush, and let things take its course.

I beleive that, if she did like you at the start, you and her would already be together, if not, give it time to develop, and wait for it, but beleive me, if shes dating other people, you should too.

 

 

My love lifes a wreck, because I was too quick and unpatient enough to wait for it, and now, shes dating someone else, while me, who hasnet forgive myself for what I have done, regret it, and every new girl I meet, who is attractive, funny and smart, will never compare to her....listen to me..........patient and time can make things better.

Sigh

It overwhelmed me on Monday, to be honest... she came to me for help, with her family (since today is her B-Day, and they PLANNED on ruining it, but we got that worked out), her friends who hate her for her Boyfriend and Girlfriend, her Girlfriend being at the doctor's for what we PRAY is just tendonitis, and NOT a nerve problem... she came to me with all of this, and I couldn't help her... and it broke me.  Not saddening, no, I got angsty... which was a shock to everyone I know, considering I'm normally the cold and collected one, but all monday I lashed out at everyone, probably because everyone had hurt her at some point, and maybe even because I was tired of doing nothing for her.  In any case, I've come to the resolution that her current BoyFriend, Ethan, will always be my superior in terms of closeness to her, and the ability to console her in her time of need...

Another thing that's stressing me out is that my Dad comes home from Kuwait tomorrow, the EXACT day report cards come out, so I can greet his ass with an F in math and the usual arguments... That, and while I was violently against the new Healtcare Bill, my crush changed my view on this. Since she's diabetic, it benefits her greatly, both now and in the future... so, yea.
