Patch 1.2 german?

Hi there,

if have the Game installed in german and updates via Impulse to patch 1.2.

Now the both new Gods are displayed in english in the game, and they are both not aviable to choose them (singleplayer-arena - the Gods are grayed out)

What can i do to fix that?

Any Ways to siwtch the patch (or/and the Impulse)-language to German?

Die beiden neuen Götter sind nun im Einzelspielermodus (turnier und Arena) ausgegraut und nicht anwählbar.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit Impulse und/oder das Spiel so einzustellen, das der Patch auf Deutsch installiert wird?

Hallo,

die beiden neuen Halbgötter, sind noch nicht synchronisiert auf deutsch und übersetzt auch nicht, daher geht das nicht. Gibt es nur auf englisch auch für die anderen Länder so weit ich weiß.

look for that problem in the forum. i think there was some solution like running the game in the administrator mode once.

Thanks for the help - i can now choose them in singleplayer.

And thx for the Information that the new Halfgods are only english atm - hope they will fix that

Atari is in charge of the European release of Demigods. I'm not sure if they will provide a translation.

On the plus side, the fix itself is relatively trivial. You just need someone who can translate English to German and a text editor.

In your installation of demigods under the ../loc/ you'll find the different language versions of the text in demigods. The file is called strings_db.lua. It is a simple text file. The English version is provided in the ../loc/US/ and I believe German version is found in ../loc/DE. Each line in the file has a string name and a string description. The name is universal, this is the name that demigod looks up. The string description is what Demigods displays on screen. You'll have to change the string descriptions from English to German. The German file is missing the new demigod strings that the English file has. You'll need to go through the file and take out the strings that are missing for the German File, add them to the German file, and then translate them.

This file is not verified by Demigods when you are playing, so you can change it to display whatever you want and still remain compatible with others.
