Need Strategical Help

Yo all,

i need a valid strategy against an Erebus in 1 vs 1....including skills, equipment and gamestyle...

only exception...i dont want to take erebus myself...any good tips are welcome...

maybe some of the erebus pros can tell me about the weaknesses they recognized...

 thx in advance

Depend if Erebus go for a minions build or assassin build. But its hard to counter a good Erebus. No matter if he goes minions or not. Personnally, i think UB/Rook/TB/Occ/Oak can counter an Erebus. Sedna and QoT can stand but will be hard to kill him. Reg and DA are good but, low damage (normal attack) or cooldown take forever (mines, Spines attack). Let see what ppl think !!

concede + QQ on forums is the only valid strat I know vs Erebus.

and it didn't fix anything.

A good erebus with any of the proper builds should be nearly unkillable one on one. You would have to win the game in macro rather than micro. So you need someone uber quick who can take down buildings and get experience and gold from creeping elsewhere. I suggest any general, and never chasing the kill.

I dont play much 1v1, but I take 1v1 ere will go for a minion build, assasin would be much easier to deal with for more dgs.

possible counters: minion oak should be just as good if not better.  Maybe an ooze ub (no spit), focused on minion counters.

again though i dont 1v1 much so might be wrong

imho, only a nuke type build will have any luck against 1v1 erebus.  He recovers HP quickly, plus has nearly unstoppable escape ability (batswarm, or just plain stun or bite + his natural speed).

If DA can get high enough level, he can tear LE up pretty well, but I doubt you'll ever get to a high enough level in a 1v1 against a minion build.  DA's swap is great for the batswarm escape.  On 3v3, if I'm DA with the level needed, I'll push erebus and anytime he separates from the fight, I start a swap, but cancel if he doesn't swarm out.  If he does... well, surprise!

Rook, MAaaayybe.  Oak, doubtful until a higher level.  UB is doable, but you have to be ready to adapt to a minion build.
