Mod help request: FOV

is it possible to mod the game camera ?

Hi there,

I'm new to the game, only play solo, and don't know much about modding.

Anywayz !

 

I'd like to mod game camera settings, esp. the FOV. It seems these settings are in lua\userInit.lua, but no modification I make ever show up in game. I suppose this file is near the top of the script hierarchy and cannot be modded just as easily as everything else...?

 

Did somebody ever mod the camera settings ?

Can someone help me understand how to mod userInit.lua ?

Any help appreciated, and sorry for the bad english.

I haven't manipulated the file myself, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. What specifically are you trying to do with the FOV of the camera?
