Minion VS giants - what do you think ?

Pure minion builds are not good late game. If you go minion build you have to focus on seige and open up the opponents side portals so your other teammates can cap and lock flags with ease. Giants and late game normal builds really hurt minion builds.

Are you serious, minions killing giants? Minion builds are one of the easiest ways to gain map control early and mid game. Killing demigod is not needed nor important for winning a game, and if you are at giants unless you are playing an equal sided game you have basically already one or lost.

Synn uses UB cause he can't stand using anything but the most OP dewd he can find.

hello Rising_God...I've had some success with pure minion builds, but you're right, they tend to end up going long. They are much more stressful and take a lot more micro-intensive play. You can get kills, but it has to be the right situation. As for killing giants...this is not what your minions are for. If you are oak, you should be putting your ward down and fighting them directly while your minions tear down the enemy citadel. (you should've gotten surge to help you with this...) The ward helps two-fold, it replenishes your spirits to go tear down the enemy citadel and it gives you armor to decrease the damage from the giants.

If you are erebus, the same is true...but instead of surge, it is mist. Keep summoning your minions and sending them to the citadel. They can either fight them there or lock your portals. They can also spend a lot of money upgrading the citadel and buying gadgets. If this occurs...then you should have the edge on purchases.

If you are sedna or occ ...there is no competitive minion build.

I have never once played the QoT, so I can't tell you anything about her.

I think you are making an assumption (which is correct 90% of the time) that Rising_God is playing on Cataract. What if he's playing on maps with no capturable portal flags like Exile or Brothers? Also, the attack the citadel with minions won't work effectively on most bigger maps.

I'm just pointing this out because I too want to know . Is the only option to try and win before it goes lategame?

I could see why you would think I was making that assumption, but I don't take the approach of clearing the portal towers. I go straight for the citadel and clear all towers on the way to it. It's much quicker than portal locking and your teammates can play their own way (so long as they protect your own portals.) Here's the thing with oak and erebus, you need enemy creeps, so I would suggest getting the first two xp upgrades as soon as you can. This will really allow you to push your minion builds.

thanks for the info it help alot to know how to use the minion build now.   but i still want them to make the minion build more powerful a end game. cuz like i sayt b4 they should live up to the name DEMI GOD i want to see a powerful general that can use hes minion to something so you can like feel that you are playing a general that control hes minion in war. but her in this game you send them to die
