I must admit, it would add a little more flair to the game and uniqueness to women. I don't quite understand why (other then the programming prospective... which is easier) there is opposition to including this in games. Mount and Blade is the same way.

Also, it shouldn't matter what type of a fantasy game this is... or if it's a fantasy game at all.

Looking for chainmail bikinis are we?

While I have nothing against chainmail bikinis I was really looking for something a little bit more realistic (if there is such a thing).

Seriously, the practicality of such garments would kinda ruin the immersion factor. It would be like Final Fantasy now, when 50% of the female character's body is showing yet she resists a punch from some giant demon-angel thing.

Don't women come in different shapes than men? It's been a while, but I seem to recall something about that.

Realistic? You think it makes sense for the women who are in combat, to have their armour cover as little skin as possible?

I think what we are talking about isn't bikinis, but some way to tell a female in armor from a male in armor.  Maybe some bumps in the right places?

Also, it would be nice to see mixed squads.  Males and females fighting side by side.

its funny how many people fight the idea that women should get away with stuff like "plate mail" g-strings and chainmail bikini's granting the same bonuses as the male counterparts that cover the body pretty much from head to toe with metal.

I agree that the weapon and armor selection is quite limited right now.  I have a lot of fun customizing my peoples, but I really wish I could choose from several appearances of club/sword/sheild/armor or whatever.  

I would demand, however, that if they make chain-mail bikinis, then we should also be allowed to have chain-male jock straps for the guys with equal bonus.  (I honestly want this to be an option just so people will say "wow... I can't believe they made this")

I look forward to the first "Major update" as I expect it to expand the customization library greatly.

landisaurus - well Gandolf was a frail old man with no armor and he defeats that bad ass demon so in a world or magic why couldn't plate mail gstrings grant the same protection?

Putting boobs on a breastplate is unnecessary since you can strap them down pretty well, and women certainly would do that before fighting.  Adding boobs to armor adds weight and deflects blows towards the sternum.

It's a bad idea.  Realistic armor for women looks like armor for men.  If you want something sexy, well, you're on the Internet.  Go find it.
