Therefore these teams should definitely be considered for DQ (without question)

However - i might like to add, Ruip was mentioned that he is in military training for deployment.  I think thats a pretty damn good reason to just perma-probate them.  It doesn't hurt us to DQ in the future. 

I say we keep Max and Dark's team on.  No DQ as they are clearly trying to get their games in. Let's keep them on probation.

Here are my votes on the following teams

3    Beastmode, General G, SitffyG - Disqualify - 0 games played as of start of week 4

10    Eltimes, Seawolf, Dream Catcher - I'm on the fence.  Dream Catcher posted awhile back in the rules/registration thread asking us not to dq, but I haven't seen any actual effort to get games in.  I say we either disqualify or drop his team at the end of this week. 

12    Nacelle, Vulture, Loco - I'm not sure about this team.  They did get 3 games in so far if I'm reading the chart right, but I'm not sure how recently that was, if they are making any real effort to get their games in, etc.  Candidate for DQ.

14    Commando, Rezzan, Tschert - Same as nacelle's team - 3 games in.  No idea how recent.  Candidate for DQ

19    Mort, Nate, Zebra - same as naceele
20    Bartleby, Aberrator, Nnils - 7 games total - not sure when last game played.  IF they are stil trying to play, I say we keep them on.
21    Mandingo, Ruiprsg, Kobzos - 3 games total.  I know rui is shipping out before too long - I think he said just before Christmas, so still some time... but only 3 games - not sure if they are trying to get games in or what.

Anyway, there is my 2 cents.  The only team that seems like a cut and dry let's dq them is beastmode's team.  The other's we'll have to discuss.  What sayeth the panel.

Bartleby's team shouldn't be disqualified. They weren't on the probation list last week, were they? If they had 7 games last week that means they were fine. They would just be put on their first week of probation. 

I think all the teams that didn't play this week should be removed. The only one I could be convinced of otherwise is Ruip, but it's not like going to army camp was some big surprise for him or anything. He probably knew that it was going to happen when he signed up. I would say giving him like, 48 hours, to get games in is as leniant as I'm going to get (and he's already gotten an extra 36 almost as it is). 

I know Darkliath's team has been trying really hard to play. So I think that they could stay in because their #1 problem is their timezone, not their lack of commitment. As the rest of the teams start to play eachother, they'll need to play with Dark's team. 

Maxsteel may have played games since being on probation but they are still below what they needed to be on LAST week. DQ.

Bartleby - Probation (ASSUMING those 7 games were in from last week, and none were played this past week, which means they weren't on probation last week). 

Ruip - 48 hours before DQ

Everyone else: DQ 

okay just figured out jon's spreadsheet.

Looks like Bartleby was on probation last week, for having 5 out of 6 games. I would give them 48 hours before DQ. 

It also looks like we forgot to DQ Brasher, Brokenstrong and Beckad. They still have 0 games it looks like. 

Teams that should have been put on probation this week would be (this week's threshold is 9? or 12?)

Honestly, with the drop rate of the tourney, I suggest for the next tourney we just have it be one day or one weekend long and have the time that the games be on very very rigorously determined and adhered to. This round robin thing isn't working out very well.

I want someone else to vote on the dreamcatcher deal - hedgie says dq.  I'm on the fence but leaning dq.  Mcshane?

Need your vote on the other teams as well McShane.  On the fence on those as well, but mostly due to not knowing when they played last... I lean more favorably towards folks that have played those 3 games very recently (indicating they are trying to get their games in).  If all of the games are from week1, I say dq.

I say add Rui and Dreamcatcher's team to the DQ list.  I know Rui's heart is still in it but I never see his teammates on anymore either. Who else were you on the fence about?

I think Bartleby and Nnils won't be able to get their games in if they don't get on vent.  Good potential there but hard to get a hold of all 3 of them at once.

what's your vote on max/seb's team?  I say keep em another week.  Hopefully they can find an alt as needed.

Keep them I guess.  All of the teams behind mine need SOMEONE to play, so we can figure out who 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are then get on with this thing.  I think when you play Zen's team you should do a best of 7, like a Stanley Cup or NBA Finals then we just wait to see whoever falls into 4th place between Rawrr's team and Darkliath's. 

Im throwing myself out there as an alt to maybe help a team get their games in. 

I'll take care of the spreadsheet tomorrow with the latest DQ's/quits/probation etc.

any objections to the folks on jon's previous team becoming free agents with their teams dissolution?  I'm fine with it.

Ok, the way I see it, there's 6 teams left who've got a shot/care.  3 of those teams are competing for the final spot in the top 4.  What we need to do is set up a scheduled match between Rawrr's team and Jon's new team, then whoever wins that plays Darkliath's team for the 4th place spot.  If these teams don't make the arranged date (we pick a day then whoever has issues gets a certain amount of time to speak up) then they forfeit.  Pacov and Zen's team finally play to figure out who's second,even though it really doesn't matter and then we get on with the playoffs.

At this point I don't think there's any reason to think that the other teams will suddenly start playing their games. 

This seems like it might be the direction to go... hmm...

I can personally play any time starting wednesday evening.  I have 2 major exams tomorrow and wednesday so I haven't been on much tonight nor will I tomorrow.

what happens if we sweep the zen_god? Are you still the winner of the round robin? We would both have 2 losses.

Yes obviously, because we beat you in the head to head matchup and have many more total wins. 

Not necessarily, but probably.  If we have any ties, then we will have a tie breaker match.  I think we talked about that some back when we were coming up with the rules.  Not really anything we need to worry about atm, though, imo. 

I do think that the next tourney should be heavily scheduled and only take up 2 days. You could do 3-4 matches a day, based off of the participation and because the beginning times of each match would be pre-scheduled then this silly "oh didn't make it sorry!" won't happen. 

Actually you guys don't even have 2 losses you have 3, so Zen should be the one asking what happens if he sweeps you, which him and I already talked about.  I don't remember an old discussion about this, but pretty sure if there's a tie, the fact that we won the head to head matchups is the logical thing to go by.

or we do the dramatic route and make you do a face off again, just for the money :3 

Personally I'd be offended for someone to try to argue that we're not the top team in the first part of the tournament.  But I guess if a miracle happens and zen's team sweeps pacov's, we'll talk more about it.

Yeah - this no schedule stuff kind of sucks.  On the bright side, we should have everything wrapped up in 1-3 weeks.
