First of all hello to everyone :)

So, I have seen many ppl playing LoL and decided to go back hecking out that sweet looking game called Demigod. Price dropped to 13Euros, bought it instantly last night while I had my day off. Played 2 rounds solo and wanted to jump in the MP o see how things are! Thats where I got like instantly turned off. Last night and tonihgt only 1 Custom Game on the chart, first was locked and now sayd about a mod.. Is it really the only custom games available each time? Than I tried the Pantheon, 5k+ Demigods on each side from the looks of it. I click to search for a game and says Im the onlyone waiting for a game.

 

Now what Im wondering is if the game is dropped form the players, if really noone plays anything more than LAN or if the system just doesnt work for me. I was waiting for over 30 minutes last time. Was watching a show while had it waiting just in case. All I need is a heads up from the ones around a long time to get things started if its a problem from my end :)

Welcome!

There is still a multi-player community, but the time of day that folks are on varies.  So, you could log on at one time and have very few online.  I'll see (or if someone else see's this and knows the link, please add) if I can find the link that shows the best times to play based on population.

Oh great thank you for the link :) As for the online community, the fact that I log in so late has to do with me seeing only one available room and nothing else? Or is it my connection? Basicaly thats why I started this topic to know if its an issue of mine or not! Or for example when it says that there are 5k demigods online from each side arent those online players? If so I have to have a prob with my connection or something so I might have to look it up I guess :)

 

Again, thank you for the link. Good start :P Was experimenting just now with couple dif chars ingame @ solo. Nothing better to do since I cant get it to work online :)

coming from LoL you are going to be disappointed by the amount of players in the game. 

 

It's a great game, and extremely fun, and arguably the best game I've ever played online. It has many downfalls (laggy, small community. very little creativity allowed with demigod selection, items, skills and favor item at high level games). But when you can play a good game it really is amazing. 

 

I would stay far away from Panthenon. It's mostly dead, but the few that use it are more ... disreputable folk. Custom Games is where the action is, and where all the good players play.

I would reccomend searching the strat forums before you go too far online and seeing what works ect. also UB and LE are the easiest dg's for new players
