A whole group of humans decided that they love me so that they be willing to fight for me.  I be thinking they just wanna be paid, but my advisors tell me that executing them would be setting a bad example.  I think I be setting a bad example letting them live, as later on, more humans decided they want to fight for me, so now I be paying for both groups.  They be setting a truly bad example, as I now have stupid markatas wanting to be joining my armies and be paid.

These silly volunteers (freeloaders) are be bankrupting me.  Well, they not be freeloading much longer.

Arco may not be completely doomed, he still has 3 forts and a pretty good sized army. 

Looks can be deceiving!

It would not be appropriate to do now, but if Arco is knocked out, I would be curious to know what went wrong. It seems that with such high research, you should be able to field some effective troops with mage support, or summon some creatures of awesomeness.

I'd guess he took a bit too "theoretical" approach to Like all research and no army. Arco has the problem that you can have one or the other - to boost reserach, you must pick sloth that makes resource production difficult.

Newbie question #1323523:

Let's say that I have a territory in which I have several active gem sites which I discovered by searching. The territory is invaded by, oh, I don't know, filthy carnivorous poo-flinging monkey people. If the monkeys succeed in taking this territory from me, are the gem sites visible to them or do they have to perform their own searches in order to find them?

They will be visible to the poo flingers, and I am sure they will thank you for finding the sites for them.

Um, so while we wait... I'm curious what wars are being fought at this time. Obviously, Ermor and Lanka will be at it in the next few turns (as soon as our NAP-3 expires). Tien'Chi is mopping up Arco and Marverni is doing the same to Abysia. Am I missing any?

I hear my position is weak, I aim to kill as many troops of my aggressors so that they become weakened and subject to elimination themselves.

Its a custom EA Arco spell called Curse of the Scarred Oreiad. A Oreiad is scarred beyond recognition while the power of (insert god name here, what is my god?) is invoked. Anyone who attacks Arco has a 16% chance per turn of their computers power supply combusting. If you attack me I recommend you get that crappy pc from 8 years ago out and start playing dom on it
