Removing Sound

My favorite Deskscape .dream has an annoying sound loop that starts "Four Million years ago..." why I would want to listen to that in in INFINITE LOOP is beyond me!!!

What's the easiest way to edit out the sound?

I found a thread in 2008 with no answer :(

You can turn it off in your mixer.

If you're running Windows 7, right click on your speaker icon in the taskbar, click "Open Volumn Mixer" and mute the volumn on "Windows Explorer".

I've looked in my Volume MIxer and don't see any volume for Explorer.   All I see is one, for System Sounds.  I'm looking to turn on my sound, any ideas?

Thanks,

Richard

Download this one, it has sounds. https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/1115/  if it works you know your DS is working correctly. As Island Dog said in the other thread, most do not have sound and as yet there still is no way to disable them except as explained here.

FYI,  DeskScapes Config should play any audio when you play the preview in config.
