Firefox 17.0.1

I always have problems with Firefox when using custom skins, I have tried multiple, new and Stardock skins like Win8. I have disabled Firefox to be skinned in settings, tested many settings, although the problem persists, with not being able to see the close/resize/minimize buttons in the right top corner. They are blanked out and unfuncitonal.

You use that orange button to hide or unhide the tool bar for FF among other things. I installed FF 17.01 and left the tool bar off without any problems with Windowblinds. Works whether or not I have the tool bar running. Try unistalling Windowblinds, reboot, run CCleaner then re-install Windowblinds and reboot again if you haven't done that already. Other than that I'm as stumped as you. Good luck!

Try turning on the Menu Bar in the Firefox options and see if that helps.

Has that been tried?

Did you, Lazionord, try the button suggestion? Worked to fix mine several weeks ago.

I just installed firefox again and like 2 of 3 says, turn on the menu bar, Right click on the orange tab, hover to options, check menu bar and you should be good to go. This disappearing button  only occurs when not in full screen and happens with thunderbird also.

With the menu bar unchecked,if you open the drop down menu from the orange tab and click full screen, your min max rest buttons will change to classic looking windows buttons also, and one of the other selections will actually move your buttons to the inner left part of the caption. Just some FYI.

For a while and I understood.

If it is not UISOskin of SkinStudio, there are many restrictions of software.

It seems that the tendency is strong in especially 3D application.

I use UISOskin.

It is unavoidable although I want to make it a cool desktop.lol

Well, Firefox 18.0 came out today, see if that fixes anything. :)

After I installed 18.0 I promptly reinstalled 17.01. After installing 18.0 everything went black in my browser. At first I thought it was just a glitch but restarted FF 3 times and it kept doing the same thing.

Weirdness o_O I installed FF 18.0 on Tuesday and all has been fine. No conflicts at all...I do have to admit; I am probably the lamest person on WC. I am still using the same skin I previously posted by Dani...

FF updated to 18 two days ago and all is well.

Yea. I have most apps excluded from WB. Winamp, Firefox, et al. Just too many weird glitches that are likely, in the end, the result of something I didn't do, or did, or wasn't supposed to do, or was supposed to but didn't.

In the end, I just disable most apps from being skinned. Easier, for me, than wondering why some button is missing or glitching-out or why I can't even close the browser (weird!) unless Firefox excludes WB, and so forth. Long list. hehe
