The Numbers Game

Guys, when in the forums, looking for a specific topic, I see a list of page numbers after each title, (see pic).

 

Starting from the recent posts page.

 

OK, Doc's Birthday thread, if I click on the 1, it takes me to the last page (wtf).

 

Sept. Desktop thread, clicking the 1 takes me to the last page. It seems sporadic. Some threads work correctly.

 

Just saying.

 

 

The below example, the 1 leads me to page 65, the 2, however, takes me to page 2.

 

 

 

BTW, Windows8, IE 10.

The "People will hit me, but....." thread, clicking the 1 takes me to page 272.  Again, starting from the recent posts page, or my replies.

 

Clicking the 1 when you're already on a page of said thread takes you to the first page.

 

Clicking a thread from the WC Home page goes to the last page of said thread.

Just checked, I get the same results using Chrome.

Hi RND

What I find is that when I click on a forum item it takes me to the last post of the particular item that I read. (not the last post in the thread)

If I have not been to the thread before I am taken to the first page!!!!

I am using IE10

Same here using both Chrome and firefox. Clicking on the thread title takes you to the last page as well as number 1.

If you clear your cache and cookies, what happens?

Even ran CCleaner.
