Desktop Weather
Help
I know DesktopX is legacy but I was wondering if anyone out there who writes scripts could help with making a new template, with some weather feed other than Weather.com?
I'd be more than happy to help in any way possible.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

I didn't mean for this to be in support, if a mod would like to move it, please do.
Bumpity bump bump...........................................bump bump!!
Prog being legacy has reason, seeking for help/developing of it is preposterous . Does it has any matter/meaning that asking people to write proggies just for Win98??
DesktopX works on windows 8.1 Gaspershooters. It is not preposterous. A lot of people use weather widgets.
BTW, Gaspershooters, I'm asking a user to help, not Stardock. For the record. I don't expect a lot of interest. This is a support thread, for now. A reminder...
Here, Here!!
Bump, Bump, Bump
Bump, Bump, Bump
Moved...;)
Thanks, Jafo.
Saw the other thread. I've been on Win7 until recently. I looked into the Wundergroind problem but couldn't pinpoint the issue. Gadgets and widgets needed to be run on compatibility/admin. Seemed to work after some tweaking, but when running weather in DXBuilder, no go.
I had been working on a Google Weather alternative a year ago, which worked well, 4-day forecast, etc. Loaded it up recently and found Google had finally terminated the feed.
I think this ship has sailed, but if I find differently, I'll let you know.
Hi, Eve. All my recent weather gadgets/widgets ( your script weather underground ) are working other than an occaisional city can't be found.
