Arrow to the Knee meme spreads

where has it surprised you?

Just for fun. Was watching Hobbit 2 (Desolation of Smaug) and one of the Dwarves (Gimi, I think) actually takes an arrow to the knee. Share where an "arrow to the knee" has blindsided you?

Ahh,,, i learn't to use a bow when i was only 'knee' high and i could not see anything behind me, which was my 'blind side'??

Gimli was a kid in the Hobbit 2. That was his dad. It was in the  conversation between his dad and Legalos.
