Compatibility issue with an app?

This post will not be seen in a short time. Great post but I suggest it gets pinned to the left side. Being pinned it could be visible for several weeks.

Teamviewer 12 (Beta) with new GUI switched on:

Had to exclude it.

Mozilla Firefox version 51.0.1 (32-bit)

Windows 10 64 bit

Cannot resize the firefox window by grabbing the top of the title bar. No up down arrow appears. Both sides and bottom work OK.

(using Blinds  Modern style)

Seems that opera isn't rendering with success. I'm thinking in buying windows blinds but this is troubling me. Anyone got theirs skins applied correctly to opera? Tried firefox and edge and they work fine.

I'm using opera 43.

Unfortunately later versions of Opera have a custom titlebar which does not even manage to match the default OS one (if you have coloured titlebars it remains grey and the same for active and inactive state).  This is a design choice by the Opera team and it will not skin by default.

However if you go to opera://flags/?search=windows 10 skin in the opera address bar and set the Windows 10 skin option to Disabled and restart it should then skin correctly.

As you have discovered other web browsers will skin out of the box.

That worked! Title bar now gets skinned correctly.

Vertical scrollbar still isn't skinned but I can live with that one, I will pretty much now buy the windows blinds once my trial ends. 

Version 10.6 ("Naked Noir" skin): Thunderbird 31.7 flickering heavily. Returned to 10.5.

Are you sure you mean Thunderbird 31.7?

The current version of Thunderbird is 45.8.0 which is somewhat newer!

On Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, with WB 10.6 installed, for some reason the menu bar in Thunderbird 45.8.0 jumps up and covers the title bar caption area.

Naked Noir is not working at all.

Was this not the case with WB 10.59?

No, because I was using Thunderbird v28.0. I just upgraded to 45.8.0.

Need anything more on this Thunderbird issue Neil?

I'm having problems with Avast internet security after the 10.6 update.
I can't interact with the program at all, system lags and unresponsive.

Reinstalled windows just now to figure it was conflicting with Windows blinds.
As soon as I choose the default skin, the program pops up and windows back to normal.

Can't use WB now

I've recently updated to windows 10 creative update and just like the anniversary update windows blinds doesnt work. My screen is totally black with just a mouse. Anybody else have this issue.? Right now I cant use windowblinds.

Thank you for reporting this.  We have been able to reproduce it and have addressed it for the WB 10.61 update.

You can avoid this in the short term by excluding AVASTUI.EXE from skinning in WB.

Nero CoverDesigner.

Problem using the program, since WB skin smear the whole window of Coverdesigner when resizing the window.

so must exclude it. (Any skin)

Slow resizing/sluggish, problem remembering windowpostions. exluding the exe doesn't help.  (Any skin) 

When WB is disabled Shellfolderfix works just fast and fine again.

Unfortunately as mentioned before, we are unable to reproduce any issue with ShellFolderFix.  We therefore have closed this issue as wont fix without further reports from other people.  It may be there is a third application required to trigger this issue.

I have had just shellfolderfix and windowblinds installed when i did new fresh clean windowinstall of creators update. Nothing else installed, meaning no other thirdparty programs just to make sure nothing else, no other thirdparty plugins programs software whatever would interfare, but didn't make any change.

Unfortunately in testing no problems with Nero Coverdesigner were found either on Windows 10.

We would need additional information on how to reproduce it as the latest download (2017) from Nero looks just fine with WB.  Using modern skin here.

I noticed it worked just fine now with my skin and stardocks skins as well with the latest beta, so it must been fixed with the latest beta version because earlier versions smeared the window.

So that's good it's finally fixed now.

Hey , i just bought Object Desktop and i got several programs acting weird. 

In this case i want to talk about Windowblinds. Yesterday i tried changing the style, and it worked. Today i booted my pc and discovered all windows had the default style again. Tried to set it back to the custom style but it didn't work: the ''Apply style to desktop'' button only views the loading screen, but nothing changed after that.

I also tried to set a custom Skin in Theme Manager (which seems to be the same thing as Styles in Windowblinds), but also this had no results.
