where is it gone from? the list of available sections? If so that means it's already defined somewhere. From the list of already defined sections? try adding a new section and see if appears in the list of available sections.

Sorry if that's not much help

You're going have to be a little more specific........................ where  in the left tree view, do you see this?

Finally figured out what you're talking about.......... That is actually the the Image Frame-Top in the Window Borders section. Why it shows up in the Task Panel section in mystery to me.

Look at left tree... see what's highlighted there? This  is what I tried to get you to tell me in post #6...........
Anyway......... try going to the 'code' tab, and adding (Top=) to the Personality section, and save.........

I constantly have the same problem in skin studio. What I do is (in my paint prog) open up a "windowframetopUis.bmp" from someone elses skin (or one of my own), make a copy, then change the copy to match my skin, and save it to the wb directory im working in. Works every time. Don't know why this happens though. I find strange happenings every time I use skin studio.

Hmmm Top= is still in the Code too just not showing >

One last shot................ have you tried closing skinstudio, and restarting it? You not supposed to be able to remove required attributes in SS. I've tried to emulate your problem, and the option to remove that attribute is not available.

I know exactly what Dark Mist is talking about. He didnt Remove the attribute, it wasnt there to begin with. Ive seen this several times. But once I "make" a .bmp and then add it to skin directory Im working in, the attribute appears. Its hard to explain. Its weird.

While you have skin studio open with the skin you're working on, open up your paint program (whichever one u use). While in your paint prog. click on "open" to open a new file. Scroll thru your directories till your in the window blinds directory. Open up the directory of any WB skin and look for the file "windowframetopUis.bmp". Right click on the title bar of the bmp graphic and choose "copy" then right click again and choose "paste as a new image". This new image will be you top frame. Skin it the way you like then save it to YOUR wb directory (the skin you're working on) save it as "windowframetopUis" or "topframe uis" .bmp. Now go back into skin studio and click on the attribute and use the "import" then "browse for premade images" buutons. Look for the file you just made and choose it and it should be there. This problem started happening to me with Skin Studio 3. Let me know how you make out
