I'm at a point in my life where I'm not planning too far into the future, but rather dealing with what today brings me. However, we are planning to move back to Tasmania in April, May next year, but that's as far as I want to look right now. It is a realistic hope/dream at this point, and we're looking forward to it, but after that, well we'll see what may be.
Thing is, I am not running a business, so I do not have the pressure on me to to be viable in years to come for those customers and employees depending on it. However, I can see your dilemma, wanting to plan for the future of Stardock in an uncertain world. For example, things may change and your future plans are in tatters, but there is nothing you can do about that until the time comes.
What I suggest is that you enjoy the now and your successes to the fullest extent, do things that you enjoy, and do them with your family.... share the good times with those you hold dear, both at work and at home. I'm guessing that you already do this naturally, as a matter of factly, but it's making it a more conscious effort that helps with greater peace of mind and thus satisfaction
However, that is not to say you should rest on your laurels. If you see near future opportunities that are viable and doable, then go for it. I wouldn't plan or invest too far ahead, though.
