Got to pay to download a skin now?

I own Windowblinds and just popped in to download my usual 'free' favourite Xmas skin. Seems I must pay up for a subscription to Wincustomise to download a new skin now. When did this happen? I bought Windowblinds thinking I had access to free skins but not so. Now I am stuck with only 5 skins unless I pay up more money I think it should be made clear that you don't have access to lots of skins. Very annoyed
