Microsoft Edge and WindowBlinds Titlebar

Is any one have a problem with the new Edge concerning the title bar? I can see that frame uses the WB theme, but the title bar uses the default theme. Is the a Chrome thing? I could never get Chrome to skin and since Edge uses the same engine I'm thinking that's the problem.

Getting the same thing here ALMonty, but I doubt anything can be done about it. :(

It's a shame, you open IE and it's beautiful then you open Edge and it's awful.

I think they did something to IE. It's very slow and some pages don't load all the way.

Yes, I have noticed that on IE also, very slow.

The same command line that makes Chrome use a normal titlebar will also make Edge - chrome do the same.

Neil I created an Edge short cut and added -disable-features=Windows10CustomTitlebar to the end of the target whithin the shortcut. Nothing changed. I also looked at the about/flags in edge and couldn't find anything.

Bump

Try adding this to the end of the shortcut and restarting Edge/your PC:

 --disable-windows10-custom-titlebar

Don't forget the space before the argument. Lemme know if that helps.

Has never properly worked for me either.

Didn't work for me either. Uninstalled Edge Chromium and went back to the Edge that came with 10. WB works with this.

I have the latest version of Edge Chromium and the title bars are skinned properly in Windowblinds.

You need to unload Windowblinds by applying the Default theme,  add -disable-features=Windows10CustomTitlebar to the end of the target and close Microsoft Edge. Restart Windowblinds and select a skin to use. Start Edge and the title bar should be skinned.

The only problem I have is when using my Surface Pro in tablet form the min/max/close buttons will not take input from a Surface Pen. Nothing happens when tapping with the Surface Pen.

Ok, I unloaded Windowblinds, applied the default theme, then added the "-disable-features=Windows10CustomTitlebar" to the end of the "target", closed Microsoft Edge, restarted Windowblinds, added a theme, and nothing, did I miss a step?

You added a space before -disable-.......?

I'm using Firefox. It's skinned to whatever blind I apply and works just fine. Try it. You'll like it.

Never got my Firefox to work properly. IF I manage to get titlebar skinned, the min/max/close are totally messed up. I'm actually not too unhappy about it anymore, running Firefox theme called Matte Black (White).
