You can't upload images from your hard drive, they have to be on a web page somewhere...
You might try uploading them to your profile as a desktop image. Click on 'Edit Account' then click on 'Upload / Edit your desktop image'

That image is *not visible* to anyone else (only you!) in this discussion list.

To show to other people:

1. Click on the link: "Edit Account" at the top of this page (just below the 'winCustomise' title)

2. On the page that now appears: click on the link "Upload/Edit your desktop image"

3. Follow any further instructions you may find

Good luck!

An red X? What kind of wallpaper is that? I hope this doesn't sound too harsh, but it's the worst wallpaper that I've ever seen, even worse than my "Darkness" one (which is just a 1600x1200 bitmap of black).

Akaska is right........... it's one thing to joke around with one another, but this guy doesn't understand English very well. Let's play nice.

I think things have been explained nicely a few times. After awhile it does get tiring and a little humor is needed. Just how many times is he going to put those red X's in!

So what? Why is that the way with certain people...if they 'don't get it' make fun of them publicly on a board, poke, jab, ridicule.

Humor at another beings expense, correct? I'm sorry it's wrong and tactless. It's one thing to kid and poke at a mutual friend that understands it's humor. But another to someone that A. Doesn't obviously understand english well. B. Isn't understanding the whole screen shot concept. C. Is someone you don't know well enough to kid with that way.

I'm sorry, I swear I'm not trying to start stuff. But it jusn't isn't nice.

I agree with Lady Akasha, its not very nice to make fun of someone who doesn't understand english very well. Just because we are the greatest nation in the world, doesn't mean that we should be mean to others or, poke fun at them. This leads to consequences like 9/11. American humor is not understood by foreign people in general. Let us try to make friends with our neighbors, not enemies. Let us lead by a good, kind example. Let us speak our constitution from our hearts. Let us spread the words that we hold dear, in our spoken words to others.

Um, ya mean like this Chas? https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?id=183376&BID=WC&page=1#184352

If you're going to set yourself above others and rather sanctimoniously tell them how to behave and be kind to others, at least practice what you preach. You were neither nice nor particularly helpful in the thread I linked to. I found that rather odd considering how you so often chastise others' behavior here and admonish us to be kind to one another.

Please first lead by example, 'K?

Yeah, you people are acting like a bunch of Republicans. Making fun of and picking on non American/non English speaking people.

Seriously, give the guy a break.

Some of us actually tried to help him

I wonder if he'll come back?

Personally, I think this poor guy threw his hands up, mumbled something in French and left. Can't say I blame him.....

pictoratus, I wasn't refering to your post in particular. There have been several post lately that I noticed people whining about one thing or another. It just gets on my nerves is all.

sig101,

I shouldn't have to defend myself, nor am I trying to put myself above anyone else. If you feel inferior because of your actions towards others, then that is your problem.

The guy you spoke of in the other thread came here slamming the site and claiming it delivered spyware. I was defending the site. Just as I defend all the great artists who share their hard work for free on it. That guy just riled the dragon in me.

But, after reviewing that previous thread, I accept your words of chastisement. I try to learn and grow and develop myself in a positive manner towards the world and its communities.

Thank you, I will work harder to practice what I preach.
