I need some tips

Personally, I never really worried about downloads.

That said, I have no idea unless you wanted to show it off in a forum thread.

Personally, I do worry about downloads. I don't make money on this and downloads is all I got. I think the forum thread is off the table.

Back in the day a new cursor could pull in 1000 downloads on the first day. Now days you might get 60 downloads. I would like know how a 10 year old cursor can pull in 250 downloads out of nowhere. This thread isn't going to go away till I get an answer.

If I am not mistaken, long time since I upload something, When you make some changes in a skin and re-upload it, make sure to choose "major changes" or something like that, when uploading. It will be listed as new upload. That should get some attention to it.

You want to know "what the hell is going on around here". Well, the number of folks customizing has decreased, the OSs MS puts out are less customizable. And, your cursor (whichever one you mean) isn't, from what you're saying, in a prominent place in the gallery, so...I'd suggest instead of trying manipulations of the system, perhaps trying to design a new cursor...and putting it together with a popular blind might help.

This isn't about MY cursor. Did you look at the image I posted? Manipulation of the system is the problem. How does this Happen.

Frankly, I detected no sarcasm as the typical markers of it were missing, nor did the initial responders to your OP. That meteoric rise? Well, Neone6 is a Master skinner. That might have something to do with it. See? That's sarcasm. Also, your response regarding how important downloads are to you (reply #2)indicates the opposite of sarcasm in the absence of a prior post denying their importance, or hyperbolic language. Smilies are your friends, btw. By the way, the counters have been noted to be inaccurate at times.

This has been going on at Wincustomize for a VERY LONG TIME. Trust me , I know first hand.  If you're a skinner , you're NOT ALLOWED to give an HONEST rating of someone else's skin. PERIOD !  If you do , then you are disqualified from ever receiving a PROMOTION....EVER !! ........ FACT.

None of the statistics, and I mean absolutely none, are totally accurate on the site, it is way too antique coding. So if I were you, I would not worry about it at all.
