musicmatch overwrited my mp3 icons

I use iconpackager and i change it to a nice clean mp3 icon. Once i turn on musicmatch, it reclaims it and changes the icon bak to wat it was before. Can i prevent this?

there should be checkbox in MM options for reclaiming file associations.Uncheck it.

I tried that... its under like reclaiming ur audio files. i set it to never and it still does it.

you could try uninstalling MM and setting the icons to what you want.Then maybe re-install but try to uncheck the option before it has a chance to grab the associations.

I have MM and it doesn't touch the associations. Only the ones that I have selected in its options. So I'm not sure what is going wrong for you. But a complete uninstall, reboot, then reinstall can do wonders for some programs including MM. Just make sure when you are installing to choose only the files you want associated and it should be fine.

Rebooting is a good tip. There are also "Repair Icon Images" and "Rebuild Icon Cache" optionx in IconPackager. Try them.
