Frames 3 wont uninstall - stuck in loop

Hello,

 

No matter what i do, I cant uninstall frames 3 on win10. At the end, it always takes me back to the registry key entry. All files still in c:/program files. I have tried:

 

normal uninstall (except now it doesnt appear in the control panel)

 

the purge.bat uninstall (both types where you do or do not reboot. Rebooting doesn't matter)

3rd party uninstaller (doesnt appear)

 

powershell commands (doesnt appear in the Get list, tried numerous names with the uninstall command)

Im up a wall. Desktop is a mess, and frames 4 is saying there is some sort of conflict. Any ideas?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system.

  1. If you go to taskmanager do you still see in the Startup tabs that Fences still listed to start on boot? If the still do please disable /delete them.
  2. You're on Windows 10 which version? Please list the full version number. Use Winver.exe to get that.
  3. Did you installed Fences not inside its default directory?
  4. For Purge, did you download the purge correctly from what listed inside Fences FAQ? Also, you will always need to reboot immediately after the purge. There will some error popup but that, I believe, is normal, What still happened after you've done the purge?
