It looks like the AI system is generating pictures that only look like they are 3 dimensional.  They definitely haven't generated the perspective mathematically to be a realistic and accurate rendering.  I'd be curious to see if AI could ever truly correct the created 'picture' to be genuine.

Autocad's 'Revit' does it with ease...but the perspective is generated from the input data of the building in plan/elevation...and has taken out all need for talent of the Architect to be able to master it by hand.

Cad has been around for decades and much of modern soul-less buildings is the result.

Back in 1972 we learned about the phrase  "trees at 3 foot centers" and what it meant in creative design...;)

Quoting wbino3556,

Can someone who has this program type in SOASE?

Maybe we'll get some decent looking ships.

Charming.  I'd love to study your demographic to learn more about what makes someone think it's acceptable behavior to type that online.

I'm the demographic who should be excited to see Sins 2 ...who has 700 hours of play time in Sin 1.

I'm the demographic that should be foaming at the mouth..but all I see is a remake of Sins 1.

Same races, ships, basic layout, ..its basically a Sins 1 with sharpened graphics and orbital planets and moving turrets.

Ships don't act any different, just start shooting within range then park.

So unless you don't care of past users and the new generation will see this as a shiny new toy..I guess you'll be fine.

I'm amazed that the owner of the company does'nt see this as a money grab..because I don't see any real money being spent here.

I always thought Sins 2 would be Stardocks attempt at a AA game.

Why with a new engine have the same exact ships/ races? Even down to the memory saving splitting of the races.

I guess my demographic is a disappointed Sins 1 player.

And I'm the rare player who won't give you shit for being on Epic.

Very Musky of you.

I only stated disappointment in the game..you obviously only like to hear flowers and butterflies.

I have Steam to voice my opinions.

Then 1, don’t join a technical preview. The games still over a year away from release and 2 don’t barge into other threads to complain. This is an AI art post.

Quoting wbino3556,

Whats your thoughts that true artists suffer when ai art is used to replace them?

Paint by numbers has always been around...for generations.

It's not going to affect real art/artists at all...but it will be excellent for paintings of dogs playing pool...;)

I love it!!  LOL

They're still not getting it.  It appears the biggest issue is with arches in perspective and correct placement [and number] of mullions.  A 'mullion' is a vertical 'bar' in a window's sash.

When you have a matching pair of sashes [or glazed doors] they will have the same number of panes, and in many cases above the pane sizes shrink to an entirely wrong perspective...;)

still. Give it a year.  3 months ago it couldn’t even do this.

Quite possibly....as long as there's someone instructing the AI when it gets it wrong.  They will need to explain 'why' it's wrong...in the exact same way we were taught [class of '72]...;)
