Desktop Gadgets

This is just a poll to see who uses Desktop Gadgets on a regular basis. As I see it not much interest. I really like skinning gadgets even though I already lay claim to 100 of them. If not much interest i am moving on to other programs, I will skin for some Artist upon their request to do so. I may still pop one out from time to time.

Thanks

Don

I used Rainmeter and Rainlendar, but usually on my own skin or default skin. No longer have time to decorate my desktop.

Thank you,

I use Winstep's modules...just easier, but there's a minus: The paucity of Winstep skinners.

The lack of responses says its dead program. I may look into winstep.

But, with DX Pro, you can create sidebar gadgets.

I still use Desktop Gadgets regularly, as you can surmise by practically all of my screenshots. I like using them and trying to match them up with whatever theme I'm using at the time. I especially enjoy using the different clocks that are available.

Define 'Desktop Gadgets'. As with DesktopX or another app?

No, these are not DesktopX widgets but standalone gadgets. There's a gallery here called Desktop Gadgets where I downloaded tons of them over the years.

I use rainmeter the most. Rainleander for calendars. I used to use Xwidget a lot. :D

I like Xwidget too. There are a lot of nice ones to be found on DA. And I like that the widgets come with a Zoom feature that allows you to easily scale them up or down.

I still use them. Especially at Christmas.

They are made with DesktopX nevertheless. ;-) I would still do them if DX was not taken from us

Yeah that's a shame, really. There were a lot of nifty programs for DX.

I intend to start making DesktopX stuff again soon.  Winstep as well.

Probably DX, rainmeter, winstep, and walls. Maybe a few cursors.

With the issues we are facing right now, finances, no insurance=no meds, etc. It may be a few weeks.
