So, I decided to keep my same Acrylic desktop...then, everyone under the Sun decided to update me! 
Post yours folks...I'm busy updating this rig!

On a different note, I left Nikos a post on fb offering to upload all I have of his walls and skins to my Dropbox. Waiting to hear back.

What a strange coincidence. The wall I used in my screenie is the wall which raclark wanted so much, and the wall Nikos lost.
He got my message, and his wall, and it's now posted on his site. It's wonderful when such strange coincidences align, and a friend's loss can be repaired.
By the way, his crash only lost that wall and its variants.
He even increased the quality of the wall which can be found here:

I just bought Driver Booster (based on your Screenshot Doc) Everything went fine. Updated a bunch of drivers.

It's actually the first time ever I have have used the texture option under "modify style" in Windowblinds with a result I really like.
