right-click on individual icons-->select properties-->change icon
and/or make sure that in Icon Packager, under settings, that 'Apply package icons to Quick Launch shortcuts' is checked

Dckolt... please try to keep all related questions, and comments in one thread........ we're all too easily confused as it is.

I have both microangelo and iconpackager and if I right-click on the "Show Desktop" icon in the Quicklaunch bar, I can change the icon. I don't remember which proggie gives me that ability

Open IconPackager > Select Icons and Cursors (on the left) > click the Launch button > select the Show Desktop icon > click the Change button > browse to find the icon you want, and select it > click Open > OK > Apply.

Correct, Right-Click on the icon in Quick Launch Tray, select Properties, the select the Icon Tab, here you can change the icon for that app.
